Jacob was great! He was very knowledgeable abut beer and the food we tasted. Jacob also had some interesting information during the walking tour about Montreal. And the beer was GREAT!

Thank you Jacob and Montreal Craft Beer Tours for a great itinerary and excellent beer and food tasting experience!

“Fun local brew pub tour”
Reviewed 19 February 2017 via mobile

We took the Montreal brewpub tour. Lots of fun. You go to three brew pubs where you get 2 beers at each place paired with an appetizer sized food tasting. All three pubs were in walking distance of each other. Our tour guide, Adrianne was engaging and knowledgeable. There were about 15 people on the tour. We went with another couple. By the second pub the whole group were talking and laughing with each other. The food pairings were interesting and added to our beer tasting experience. The tour took about 3 hours. It cost $59 apiece and was well worth the price.

“Nice Afternoon Activity”
Reviewed 18 January 2017

This was a nice way to fill our first afternoon in Montreal. The tour visited three very unique pubs, and we got to explore part of the city on foot. This tour is very generous with the servings of food and beverages. Our tour guide, Gerardo, was very knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. Even after the tour, he stuck around to answer questions about what to do at night. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience with Andre the tour guide. Delicious food and a great variety of beer. Chilly walk at times, but well worth it. Great tidbits of history. Definitely get Andre as your tour guide!

“Time and money well spent!”
Reviewed 4 January 2017

On our recent impromptu visit to Montreal over the holidays we were unable to get spots to the highly recommended food tours. How lucky were we to find this beer tour, which also included some light food along the way, including a tasty sampling of the much lauded poutine. We visited three classy brewpubs, imbibed some solidly good beer, and learned the basics about beer. I have been on several other beer tours in other cities and I can honestly say that I finally understood beer because of this tour! The entire group was composed of couples, a quiet group that seemed genuinely interested in the beer tasting. Sebastien, our tour guide, was funny and knowledgable. In addition, he was immensely helpful with recommendations after the tour (and he wasn't doing it for tips because as far as I could tell very few gave him one). Thanks to him, we experienced Manitoba a truly exceptional restaurant, and another place that had all you can eat mussels which was also fabulous. Highly recommend the tour!
