This was our first visit to this restaurant amd found the place to be nice and cosy. Good ambience especially on school night.

We started with the sashimi special appetizer which was very nicely presented on a long board (boat style) and tasted great.

We than ordered some sushi and a few of the recommended maki rolls. They were all delicious, however the curry maki wasn’t our favorite.

We also enjoyed their white wine. Overall, its a great place for sushi and atmosphere. Definitely recommend it.

We have been there 3 times and the sushi was DELICIOUS all 3 times. We had the chef's selection twice and he always managed to surprise us with a large variety of flavours, textures and colors. The sushi here is done with EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAIL! The fish they use is always the FRESHEST and you can taste that the ingredients that make up the sushi are always served at the right temperature so to maximize taste. The SERVICE is always ON CUE and very KNOWLEDGEABLE. Of course it can get loud because the place is quite small but it is necessary to deliver VERY HIGH QUALITY FOOD. Make sure you try their 100 LAYER CREPE, it's DIVINE.

We took our daughter here for dinner to mark her graduation and had a great meal of sushi, both raw and cooked. The food could not have been fresher and the waiters patiently explained how much food the five of us were likely to require. The only drawback is the noise, which can get very loud once this small restaurant is full.

Too bad there is no option for rating “zero”! 1 is too much for them. We made a reservation for 4 people and after 2.5 hours as we were ordering desert we were told that our time is up and we have to leave because another group will need the table soon so they didn’t take our desert order.
They basically throw you out of the restaurant if you want to stay a bit longer. The worse part is that it’s not the first time it is happening to us. Horrible customer service.
Never returning back!

I visited Jun I again in April 2018. This is my "go to" Japanese restaurant in Montreal. Food is very authentic. This restaurant has been around for a while, so the decor seems a bit dated. But don't be fooled. They serve great, authentic Japanese food. I tried omakase sushi and it was yummy!
