There is so much positive to say about this hotel that I feel compelled to list it:
The reception: the staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, accommodating, helpful, and pleasant. They constantly went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and guide us as newcomers to Quebec City. As great as all other aspects of the hotel were, our interactions with the staff were the most especially gratifying part.
The decor: the hotel is beautifully decorated.
The room: our king-size bed with memory foam mattress and three large pillows was SO VERY comfortable. The bathroom, though small, was big enough to use ;) We didn't hear a single sound from outside or from other rooms/guests at any time when we were in our room. The room was plenty large to give a feeling of luxurious spaciousness, and our particular room had a beautiful view from the front windows overlooking some of Old Quebec, thanks to a lack of any building across the street.
Cleanliness: in the public areas/halls, the dining room, and inside our room (including the bed and the bathroom), everywhere was spotlessly clean and gave the feeling of being sanitary.
Amenities: TV with a lot of cable channels, and good WiFi.
Continental Breakfast: delicious assortment of baked goods, accompaniments, juice, and coffee/tea. The staff keep plenty of food available throughout the breakfasting time period. The dining room is pleasant with essentially wall-to-wall windows.
