The staff at the hotel are very pleasant, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We had a room with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The room was spacious and well equipped. The location of the hotel is why I gave it four stars. It is a 15 minute walk to old town Quebec and is only 5 minutes from many restaurants that are frequented by local Quebecers who enjoy good food. The Plains of Abraham are a half a block away.

We stayed in Quebec for 2 days and this was a major option. About 15 min walk to city center ( we also went from the city gardens directly to the Terrasse near the hotel Frontenac; amazing walk). The breakfast is nice, the room was also good, the area was very calm and quiet but restaurants and bars are very close. They offer car parking but you have to pay.

Located near viuex Quebec, it is an old cozy big house turned into an hotel and its OK. It is a beautiful house, the rooms are comfortable, well sized and very clean. The staff is very friendly and warm. It's close to most restaurants and just a few blocks away from the city walls. It is a good option!

We've been there only for one night. The house is located near the center of Quebec City and you can walk everywhere from there.
The room thay gave us was big (we were 3 guests) and it had space enough for all of us, it was also very clean.
The breakfast included was fine, a continental one.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Quebec City, keep this in mind.

Price-wise, it's OK, relatively clean, quiet, with simple breakfast and good location.

The main problem we have is the bed. It was probably old or didn't being placed in a proper way(not enough support). The center of the bed sank. It was not comfortable and we didn't sleep well.

The front desk ladies were friendly, especially the one we met in the morning.

Regarding parking, we found one street very near by was free parking after 10pm and also Sat, the whole day free parking. However, we didn't know that there would be a snow cleaning at 3:30AM(no sign) and our car was towed. We got a $108 ticket. On the ticket it says, a notice of snow cleaning was given at 3:30AM and this car was towed at 3:45AM. Who can see the notice at 3:30 in the early morning? Moreover, there was no sing or anything to tell us where our car was. Thank God that there was a guy cleaning street and he knew about it. Thank God again it was not too far from the hotel and my husband could walk there to pick up our car. After being home, we paid the fine through VISA since it would be troublesome to go to the court in Quebec City for this matter. My husband tried to call to make a complain but on one would like to take care of our case. They just transferred his call to different departments. In terms of this matter, Quebec city is not tourists friendly!

I stayed at this small hotel — really more like a large B&B — for five days. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Wi-Fi was quick. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke both French and English. Manoir De La Tour is within a 15 minute walk of Vieux-Québec and two blocks from the Plains of Abraham, a lovely park that runs along the St. Lawrence River. The price was good for the excellent location. I would recommend it highly to anyone.

Room Tip: I was on the first floor in the back.

we spent four nights here and found it comfortable, welcoming and great value for money. We travel a lot and love to mix up the kinds of places we stay at, this is one of our favourite types of place - small, privately owned and run, no pretensions but offering every comfort and in a fantastic location - none of the hassles of bus or taxi trips into/back from town - just a very easy short walk to the walls of the old city and the major attractions

The location is second to none for sightseeing. Our large room, with its double aspect windows overlooking pretty tree-lined and quiet street, was well equipped, better than so many 'better' hotels we have stayed in. Large comfortable beds, small fridge, plenty of occasional furniture like armchairs and table/desk,tea and coffee making facilities (always welcome when you go back for a late afternoon rest after a day sightseeing, a
fast hairdryer in bathroom, good quality toiletries and of very clean towels. A very acceptable breakfast of juice, cereals, bagels, croissants, muffins, toast, cream cheese and fresh fruit with tea and/or coffee.

The staff are super-friendly, speak English, genuinely want to make your stay comfortable.

The location is superb
