We were in Quebec City in June 2018 and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. We sat outside at one of their sidewalk cafe tables, and it was nice. I wanted iced tea, but unsweetened, not the sweet tea we found all over the city. The waitress said she'd ask; when she returned she said they'd make it for us. A little while later, the manager came out with two glasses of iced tea that they had brewed for us! It was delicious and complemented the salads we ordered. We thought the price was a bit high for salad and tea. But overall, a very good experience. A side note: the day was glorious with warm bright sunshine. I wished I had worn a hat as we were not under an umbrella and the sun was strong.

Graffiti was recommended to us by a friend. We made a reservation for dinner with friends we had brought to QC from the UK. The food was excellent!! Delicious pastas and sweetbreads. Unfortunately we had a strange experience with our server, who was not particularly engaging at all. After our main course he asked if we would like to see the dessert menu to which we said yes. He also asked if anyone wanted coffee. One said yes to coffee which he got fairly quickly but the dessert menus didn’t come until we asked again and even then took a long while. One of our party ordered a dessert and it didn’t come. Finally she called him over and cancelled the order saying it was taking far too long and could we just have the bill. The server looked at his watch and then went to get the bill. At no time did he apologize for the delay or not bringing the dessert. He was arrogant. After a delicious meal this was a disappointing experience.

A friend who lives in Quebec recommended this restaurant, saying we would enjoy this place. And we certainly did. Nice décor, comfortable seating, some tables with banquettes. The menu was very interesting with a good choice of pasta. Presentation was excellent. My starter was the pastry with shrimp & scallops in a white cream sauce, so delicious, followed by the rack of lamb that was very tender & cooked to perfection. My husband started with a half portion of the risotto with duck confit pieces & mushrooms that he said was great. Then the cerf with blueberries. Service was very attentive with the perfect amount of wait between courses. We were finishing our wine & we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. We declined but said we would like an espresso afterwards. The espresso arrived right as we finished our wine. The end to a perfect dinner. We will definitely return. Also to note, they have some outdoor seating which does not require a reservation. Its first come, first served.

Four of us showed up for lunch on short notice after seeing the Berthe Morisot exhibit at the Musee des Beaux-Arts. The tartare de boeuf was preceded by a small sample for me to approve. Approved! Capers and spices mixed in with the very lean beef. Indescribably good. Same for the feuilletes de chantarelles sauvage. Never had such good mushrooms in a white wine and cream sauce. Perfectly complemented by a light puff pastry ( to soak up the excess sauce!). Ah, yes, so easy to overlook the potato chips. “Potato chips,” you say?? Yes, homemade chips still warm from being deep fried. Absolutely the best potato chips ever made. Food of the gods!
Very helpful waiters and patient, too, as we ate well beyond their lunch hours. This is the best meal I have had in many months, probably since Italy 15 months ago. Hmm, maybe better than that, too.
Trio of smoked salmon, gravelox and salmon tartare was a big hit with our piscetarian.
This has to be one of the Don’t Miss places in Quebec!
