This was a pleasant stay here in whitehorse. The outside is completely different from what the insides holds!! The rooms were super nice but one of our beds had hair on it.. I am sure the staff would have changed the sheets but we were tired and just decided to not use that one bed... on a brighter note the one bed we did use was INCREDIBLE!!!! Oh my gosh.... the most comfy bed I have ever slept on.

This hotel was surely a diamond in the rough. From the outside it appeared to be a typical 'Motel 5' but after entering we were shocked. The design was quite European in style. The room had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom shower was tall and wide with a rainfall shower head. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I actually live in Whitehorse and were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We stayed in the executive suite, which has a full living room, bedroom and bath. Very large jacuzzi tub, big enough for two. The bathroom has a two way gas fireplace with the bedroom. Very nice feature. I found the bed to be wonderful, but my hubby prefers a firmer bed. Two large flat screen TV's with local cable only. Overall, it is a beautiful room with hardwood and tile flooring. Don't bother with the continental breakfast, walk a few doors down and go for breakfast at the airport chalet instead.

Upon finding out I had to go to Whitehorse for a few weeks I wasn't pleased. When I got to the hotel my eyebrow raise as it doesnt look like much from the outside and it is very close to the airport.

However, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing! One of the best showers I've had in a hotel room - comparable to 5 star hotels in major cities. This is a great hotel!

It is a little far from down town and restaurants but realistically the are 5 minutes away by car.

Hotel is right across street from airport . They say it was just renovated, is very comfortable.
I stayed in the presidents suite, worth the $40.00 upgrade. big tv's, fireplaces bathroom, hardwood floors and very quiet.
Food
I believe they only serve dinner, I found it to be pricey but pretty good overall. Dinner with drinks and tip for one almost $100.00

Room Tip: Upgrade to presidents suite, only $40.00 extra and well worth it.

Great place and friendly staff.

Ensure you do not get the rooms above restaurant. They are called an executive suites, however, they are very noisy with a shower you cannot turn around in. They moved us no problems.

The hotel is far from downtown incase you want to have adult beverage and need to drive. It's $20 in a cab one way.

Beds are fantastic, but the heating unit is very very noisy. If you like complete silence then maybe you should consider elsewhere to stay.

Breakfast is very basic, but healthy. I thought it was very adequate.

Room Tip: Not above the restaurant is key.

New hotel to me - discovered it is a converted older building. Warmly welcomed, quick and efficient check-in, excellent decor. My room was simple and over-priced at $137.03 inc. tax. - No seating to relax in, just two hard very upright side chairs. Very comfortable bed. Good lighting. Heating excessive - even with the thermostat set reasonably, the temperature just kept rising; I refuse squander money on A/C when it is minus10 degrees Celsius outside. Excellent shower with poor controls, poorly laid out (but beautiful) bathroom fixtures and lighting. Very noisy plumbing - other people showering reverberated throughout the building. Breakfast - self-serve cereal and film-wrapped breads, fruit, yogurt and cottage cheese, tepid coffee from a pump pot disappointing and a rip-off at $7.00; should be included in the room price. One dinner in the restaurant was good but over-priced ('it's the freight' used to be the reason given, possibly valid).
