I really enjoyed our day in the snow at this preserve. The enclosures are big enough that you can get some good photos of the animals. It's worth taking a tour to learn about the animals - like the Muskox who thought a truck was its mother. The moose were so close to us that I couldn't take photos with my zoom lens. It was great seeing these beautiful animals so close. I would love to go back again someday. Well worth your time.

We saw many animals which we don't normally see in our daily lives in the city. Elk, Moose, Red Fox, Mountain Goat, etc. It's a nice area for the animals and it worth a visit.

We were fortunate enough to visit during feeding time! You can walk the 5 km road but Northern Tales takes tour buses in and we appreciated that because it was icy....spring day and the animals were active!
