Very helpful and friendly staff. Transferred all my gear to another room while I was touring and provided a USB adapter plug that could not be found for love or money in the village shops.
Very close to the centre of the village and even though it is the oldest motel in the region it is still the cutest.

Older style motel. On the upside, spotless with good kitchen for self cater if needed and fairly roomy. Also the breakfast is great and so are the friendly managers. On the down side... Beds are very small and pillows uncomfortable and need replacing. Shower is a water saving nightmare, a trickle. (this could easily be remedied!) Parking at the door. Very handy to town but quiet.

We had a 3 BR S/C unit with ample parking. There was only 1 bath/toilet but we managed. As we arrived late and had to leave the next morning, we could not fully enjoy the facilities. Our host was helpful and gave us the POI's that we could manage in the time we had. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: No difference to the location of rooms.

A nice and handy place to stay for a family wedding at Craggy Range. Just a short walk to town, a short drive to Te Mata peak to admire the 360 degree views of the surrounding country. Also, a great base for a trip to the wonderful gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers.
Very helpful and knowledgeable host for whom nothing was too much trouble.
Unit clean and tidy - just what we needed for our long weekend.
