We stayed in 4 berth Feb & Aug and 6 berth in June.
Villas are fab and have everything you need to be like a home from home. They provide a feed back form and the only thing we mentioned was the lack of clothes hangars.
Large folder in villa with lots of good local information.
Fully enclosed gated gardens with picnic bench for you & the dogs to enjoy sitting outside. Outdoor shower in garden so no need to take dirty dogs or wet suits in the villa & washing line and pegs also provided. Recycle facilities on site.
Minutes walk from magnificent beach, plenty of dog bins too.
2 of our stays were within "dogs stay free" periods , but these have been altered for 2019 but are clearly shown on their availability calendar.
Good location for exploring North Devon , but that said once here you may not want to go far !!
Croyde & Ifracombe both nearby and found both to be very dog friendly.
We stayed. To attend a family wedding and took full advantage of this nearby setting. We had four of the villas which we found had enough space for all of us and those who brought their dogs. After hectic days at the beach the short walk back to the villas is a great way to start an evening, either at the villas or in the lovely nearby Devon seaside towns. We had lovely weather and were able to enjoy the beach to the full.
My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a week at the end of June, 2018, with our little dog..We had a two bedroomed villa at The Burrows - right near the dunes and the beach. The villa was spotlessly clean and adequately equipped. Beds were made up with good quality linen. Arranged a grocery delivery from Sainsburys, which was easy to do. A blanket, bowl, and crate were provided for use by the dog.
Location was excellent for seeing North Devon, and the beach - Saunton Sands - is excellent. Good value for money. Only criticism is that the villas face on to the car park, which can be a bit dusty/sandy. Staff in the office were friendly and helpful.
Would love to return one day......
we stayed in burrows 13 from 27th July 2018 after not having a holiday for a while we found saunton sands beach villas on net and booked straight away could off not wished for more. from arrival all staff r 10 /10 nothing to much trouble we already trying to book for next year ... dog loved it there too great beach to play on ??? two kids loved the whole week weather could off not been any better lovely and hot
We stayed for a week at the beginning of July with our 2 dogs the villas were immaculately clean and comfortable, the gardens are a real asset! The shop is really well stocked and reasonably priced. So close to the huge beautiful sandy beach !!!
We booked a" dogs stay free break" and stayed in a 6 person villa with 3 bedrooms. We were amazed at the interior of the villa when we arrived, beds made up and excellent quality linen beautifully decorated and sparkly clean. Plenty of space and really comfy beds. Poppy even had a goody bag with a ball, treat , poo bags and a name tag .
We were on the bottom row and at the end of the row so it was lovely and peaceful. Each villa has a dog shower outside as well a really good thing with so much time spent on the beach.
Sue on reception was lovely and check in and out were a breeze.
Great location being so close to the beach and dunes. A stress free 3dog holiday with the enclosed garden being so easy and secure. The lodge was modern, bright and spotlessly clean. With a very comfortable king size bed we didn't want to leave. Will be coming back again and again.
