Gallo Nero was extremely easy to find, with ample parking right by the front door. I believe the owners will pick you up at the local train station plus take you there for day trips to Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Venice or even Florence. We drove to Padova one day and were given explicit directions to a parking area that we found easily. Also the suggestions for what to see and do were spot on. Dinner recommendations for the local area were ideal. The breakfast was very good and the large eating area provided for plenty of space, which is often not he case at a B&B. I could go on and on, but will save that for my most-assured return trip. Oh and did I mention it was the best value for my money of anywhere I have stayed in Italy?

Room tip: The apartment room is great for families

As part of our northern Italy vacation/tour we stayed at the Gallo Nero just outside Padova. A great location which is just a short drive or train ride to Verona, Vincenza, Venice, or Padova. The owners/staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, and truly love what they have developed at this agroturismo. The renovation of the property is beautifully done with large open spaces and clean, comfortable rooms. There is a very nice outdoor pool with easy access from the main building. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere this is it. A nice breakfast each day and the owners are very engaging and spend time talking with every guest and truly make you feel welcome. We only wish we had more time devoted to this wonderful little gem and the great people who made us feel so very welcome.

Room tip: Variety of rooms for families, couples, or singles. Just ask the owners for help when you make the reservation.

We are the falily of three and we stayed in Gallo Nero for a few days during our trip around Italy. Gallo Nero is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay there. It's conviniently placed between Padova and Vicenza, close to Venice. Not only the location is perfect but also the owners (Italian- American marriage) are the sweetest people we've met. The house is beautiful and very clean. Modern but with Venetian twist. The infrastucture is new. And the pool is just great. Our son liked this place so much that we extended our stay there. It is a great place for longer vacation with kids. The railway station is close (convinient for a trip to Venice) so are the shops and other facilities.
The breakfast is abundant and tasty fresh homemade cakes are served.
I recommand this place for everyone who likes quiet vacation without crowds and in really luxurious conditions and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy as we did!

Room tip: The owners have regular rooms and rooms with kitchen unit. There's also the area to eat a picnic outside in the garden.

My family had a great stay here in July. The B&B was spacious, well kept and ideal for our stay. The owners and their children were gracious hosts that served a great breakfast and helped us plan our days events. The pool was a perfect way to cool off before getting the day started. We visited many cities like Venice, Verona, Vicenze, Modena, Bassano del Grappa, Cittadella and Lake Garda which were all within about an hours drive from this B&B. We left many other cites uncovered to hopefully visit some other day in the future.

Our family (15 in all) stayed here because [looking at a map in America], the location the appeared to be close to all we wanted to see in the Vento.
Boy, did we hit the jackpot, during our 4 night stay we were able to take day trips to Venice, Verona, Vincenza, Lake Garda, Bassano Di Grappa, and the Cittadella all less than an hour away. The delightful pool was refreshing during the heat wave.

Owners Ruth, Gerillimo, daughter Kimberly and son (I'm sorry, his name escapes me) were fabulous hosts and provided us with wonderful information to make our stay in the area fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable and with the entire place recently remodeled. There was so much to see and do in this area, that we all agree that we'll need to come back again and we will certainly stay here again!

Room tip: Room # 3 had a small kitchenette...quite handy to store cold drinks!
