Great place to stay, wake up to the mesmerizing sounds of the Pacific Ocean, with nice rooms and amazing food. Best hot chocolate I have ever had, oddly enough. Owner is a great person and passionate.

Fina Punta Ayampe is simple hotel very close to the beach, you can see it from your room and it's 5 minutes walk. I would recommend it for families, as it has friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner is served in open dining room with fire place and several dogs and cats.

Things to do;
The beach is very close, though be careful of the rip tides.
Whale watching Porto Lopez is a 15 minute taxi ride away and can be arrange through the hotel

We didn't enjoy our breakfast last week. There was miscommunication about our order. Communication didn't go well. The breakfast was not tasteful. I can amagine that the place is nice in high season. Now it was dark and constructions were going on.

We apologize for the breakfast. Normally everybody is happy with it and we get a lot of visits from people not staying here that come to enjoy out famous breakfast.
I am very sorry.
Some days are not to sunny and people around the planet have a right to construct what they want.
We can do anything about it.
Have a very good day....

The Hotel is located at the end of the small village Ayampe. The cabañas are very nice with a great Seaview. Also the manager called Santiago is very kind, knows a lot about the surroundings and is very funny. He is very helpful at organising trips in the nearby villages. The breakfast is great and also for lunch and dinner you can get delicious meals. The only problem was that there is a lot of wind coming through the cabañas but the staff helped us on request.

Great location. The hotel feels like it is in the jungle. Amazing views of the beach and waves from the bungalows and from the restaurant. Town is very safe and tranquil except the tranquil does not apply to waves. The surf gets pretty heavy if there is any kind of swell. Good for beginners though cause there is always tons of white water on the inside. Being set up on a hillside, Finca Punta enjoys a cooler climate than the town of Ayampe and this is a real big plus. Good food at the restaurant and friendly staff are other positives. Can't go wrong with this place.

Room Tip: Bigger bungalows can accommodate 4-5 people.

It sure was a lot of fun having you guys.
Great place for exercising on the beach and surfing no matter how experienced you are.
When I see guests like you that come for 3 nights and stay for more is the best pay.
Thanks for the visit and thanks so much for your words.
Always sending Ayampe vibes your ways.......
