Nice place to do some free ride and/or enjoy the the pist. Very few people, breathtaking views, and tasty local
food and brandy :-) off season two day pass is around 30€, which is much cheaper than in Europe.
Definitely worth a visit!

We had a late season spring break ski trip to Gudauri from Dubai. Really nice and updated facilities throughout the ski resort. Lifts were in great shape and the new Gondola was amazingly fast.

The slopes are really good for beginners to the more advanced skiers. Having reached here at the end of the season, there are a few patches that aren’t good at all.
That is by no means a representation of the resort as temperatures are also too high to use artificial snow to cover the ever increasing dirt patches appearing. Especially the hidden patch on the crest of the last section.

There are various shops where refreshments and food can be bought. Some better than other, however it’s mostly up to personal tastes and preferences. We found the best food and drink options being served on the second level of the slopes.

The lifts operate from 9am to 4pm.
Police patrols are visible throughout the day and the ski-school was awesome.
Some private people posing as instructors can spoil the day, so keep an eye out for those wearing bibs. The same applies to the paragliding company, etc.

Going to the loo will cost you, so make sure you carry some cash and not only a card.

The vibe at the resort was really pleasant and is highly recommended.
One thing I can attest for is that more sunscreen is better.

I loved this resort. People were friendly. IT was ridiculously cheap and had every facility one would need. plenty of slopes for different levels. We stayed in Hotel Donata which was a perfect access point to the slopes especially for beginners, yet only metres from the 1st chair lift.I thoroughly enjoyed this resort and will be telling people to visit. The beauty of this resort is that it's only a stone's throw away from some of the most majestic villages and towns in Georgia. A 2hr drive in any direction and you'll be in a different climate. Georgia is beautiful and this resort is a testament to its beauty! Also , we had an instructor named Tamara who our hotel arranged and she was excellent!
