This is a solid high quality Indian restaurant and takeaway. Indian cuisine tends to be a little more expensive in Ireland than for example Chinese but well worth it. This is a very good place and deserves to be full every night. Thanks and keep up the good work.

After a long day, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. It is not worthy of a bad review, and maybe we were over tired.
1. Staff were really lovely and friendly, so welcoming
2. Starters were amazing, like one of the nicest we had.
3. Service was really quick - like cannot fault it at all.
4. The chicken in my main wasn't tender. It felt like satay chicken skewers chicken , harder on the outside. My partners main had a skin on the sauce, but tasted quite nice. He just felt like the skin meant it had been sitting under a heat lamp and served up prior to our arrival.
5. It was a small bit pricey. We have gotten the same quantity of food/dishes and drinks elsewhere in other restaurants, and paid less with alcoholic drinks. ( They do not serve alcohol)

Would we go back? It is worthy of a second chance yes.

Lovely staff and beautiful place.thats it.I never like to write bad reviews but i have to.i just dont understand how this place have such a good reviews thats why i decided to go there for dinner.i LOVE indian food, but this one was like a nightmare-worst i ever had in my life.korma was super sweet like 1 kilo of sugar fell into it (my teeth still hurt)and u could see chicken wasnt freshly cooked either. My bf had veg.dish looked nice but then he tasted -frozen vegetables looked like cooked probably in custard and again tons of sugar.we also ordered garlic nan but i cudnt taste garlic anywhere.Soo absolutely tasteless dishes(only warm not piping hot) and nans only u could taste is sugar.but no spices which is very unusual for indian and trust me i tasted food around the world.Worst thing is that u have to pay for that garbage soo much money-(14e korma +13e veg dish+ 7e for 2 tasteless nans+2 waters) i paid cca 38 euro and i feel like i got robbed to be honest.Because paying almost 40 euro for frozen veg and old chicken swimming in tasteless sugary sauce its bit too much, dont u think so?If u know how real indian food taste, please think twice before u walk into this restaurant not just because is huge waste of money but save ur taste buds too.I love any food but I was highly disappointed and my evening was ruined because i had and still have headache from that sugar rush, seriously!!

Always had good quality food here. Menu is correct with its definition of how spicy the dishes are. Fast to be cooked and ready to be collected . Friendly staff!!

Mitchelstown is blessed with the variety of places to eat given its small size.
Chilli Tandoori covers the Indian option.
It's a pleasant place with friendly staff. The food is as good as one would expect. They don't serve alcohol but they are happy to accommodate you if you want to bring your own wine or beer.
They have a takeaway which is popular as well.
