My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Riva Rosa by chance, when visiting Burrano island on 26th May.
It's just a short walk from the boat, follow your nose and you'll find it after 1 minute. We were lucky to get a table, so might be wise to book in advance as the restaurant soon filled up.
We enjoyed some wonderful prosecco and a bread basket, followed by 2 glorious pasta dishes. The first, the Spaghetti Vongole, was sensational. By far the best example of this dish I've ever eaten. My boyfriend had the Spaghetti con Verdure (as he doesn't eat fish). Both dishes were 15 Euros. The portions were enough for lunch, but if hungry I'd suggest you share some Antipasto or enjoy pudding.
I'd highly recommend making the journey to Burrano for this restaurant alone. It's not expensive given the quality of food and the beautiful surroundings.
