“More than Bed & Breakfast”

We are Estonian couple with 9 month old baby, we spent last weekend in Arco Iris. Everything - our room, breakfast, the family - was perfect! Even the weather was good, although it's November:) Our baby slept there much better than at home in Valencia. We felt more like visiting grandpa, and not staying in B&B!
In addition, we were also very happy with Roy's dinner recommendations: in Jalon, there are many good and favorable restaurants.

We just had an "overnight" at Arco Iris as we were on our way to Jalon to pick up our very early coach for onward travel to a cruise. Our experience here was a good one. The proprietors were extremely helpful and the accommodation was perfect. Thank you both. We will recommend you,

We have just spent a couple of days at Arco Iris and would highly recommend it. Roy and Iris were so welcoming and friendly. We honestly felt like we were with relatives. The B&B is very well appointed and you really feel like you are in the Spanish countryside. Brilliant little restaurant a short drive up the hill - I'm still full! Would love to return one day, even just to pop in and say hello to our lovely hosts. Thanks for having us!

I stayed here in mid august with my 2 daughters aged 2 and 13 whilst visiting my sister and it was perfect for us. Roy and Iris are fantastic they looked after us so well and i felt like family when we left!
Our twin room was very spacious and modern with a lovely en suite bathroom. They provided us with a cot for my 2 year old. We had an abundance of clean towels every day and stacks of hangers in the huge wardrobes.
Breakfasts wow, they were amazing. Sat on the terrace over looking the pool was beautiful.Cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, toast, pastries, fruit juice, tea and coffee and a whole lot more.
Made to feel so welcome the minute we pulled into the driveway, full guided tour and able to use all facilities from swimming pool to washing line.
We loved our stay and cant wait to come back. Thank you Roy and Iris for making our stay so perfect. We Will be back!

The very hard-working Iris and Roy really do provide a home from home in the Jalon Valley. We stayed for a week in August whilst visiting family nearby and they made our holiday. Breakfast by the pool was just the most perfect way to start the day.
I would not hesitate to recommend Arco Iris to anyone and we'll hopefully have the chance to return at some point.

Hot, tired and sticky from our flight, we arrived at Arco Iris and were given the warmest welcome possible, namely a big smile from Iris and a cool drink. This level of excellent hospitality continued during the whole of our three night stay and we really can't recommend the B&B enough.

The room: ensuite with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows, piles of large fluffy towels and a great shower.

The pool: larger than usual for the area with a great deep end and plenty of sunbeds, so no need to stake a claim at 6am. The outside pool loo and shower were very handy.

The outdoor kitchen and terrace: fully stocked with utensils and a fridge for guests' use that came in handy for both food and wine from the collectiva in nearby Jalon. Tables in both sun and shade with an extra wind-out sun shade at one end of the pool.

The breakfast: varied and plentiful, including cereal, yoghurt and fruit, bread, toast and croissants, cheese, ham and eggs and good strong coffee.

Cleanliness: this is very important to me, especially where bed linen and towels are concerned, but I needn't have given it a passing thought - everything was absolutely spotless.

The location: beautifully quiet but only a short drive from either Jalon or Benissa for supermarkets/restaurants/bars. Roy and Iris recommended a taxi to us on the day we decided to go for a fantastic boozy lunch at Verd i Vent - see my reviews for details.

The people: Roy and Iris are wonderful hosts and genuinely seek to give guests the best holiday possible. Roy is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to give advice on where to go and Iris is thoughtful and generous - we really couldn't have asked for better.

We will definitely return and look forward to sharing another jug of sangria and a good gossip!

Room Tip: All 3 rooms are very well appointed (we had a nosey before we left)
