Was at the hotel with my sister for a couple of nights to finalise some business and had a pleasant stay. Room comfortable and clean. Terrace overlooking beach was a great bonus. The pool was a nice distraction for a couple if hours after a busy morning. Would defiantly return. The only thing it could do with is some coffee making facilities in the room especially when you are leaving before breakfast.

We stayed just 2 nights on a semi business trip and had a sea view room. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast although only continental offered plenty of choice. The pool area at the back of the hotel is a nice area with a roof terrace which is for adults only. As it is right on the beach and surrounded by the bars and restaurants it couldn't better location. The fair sized balcony offered the chance to sit and watch the world go by.

Although our visit was short I would return to this hotel and recommend it.

The hotel is located right opposite a beautiful beach which was very quiet compared to other beaches on the costa brava (may 2017). The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was huge with a gorgeous balcony looking out over the sea. There was also a really nice pool and lounge area at the back of the hotel. There was not a lot of dining option open when we were there but there are bigger towns nearby which we drove to and explored. Would definitely recommend the Hotel Rosamar for a quiet peaceful break. The only issue we had was that we could not find the car park as it is not located next to the hotel and it was hard to get parking to go into the hotel to get a map to the carpark.

Room tip: Sea view rooms were stunning, listening to the sound of the ocean in the evening was so peaceful.

We stayed in a 30 square metre "Superior Sea View Room with Balcony" and believe it was well worth the extra cost. Hotel Rosamar has been recently renovated and they did a good job. The large sandy beach is only 30 metres away from the front door. The room was very clean. Although rated 3 Star I believe this property is worth 4 Stars following the renovation. The continental breakfast buffet was good and the dining room was extremely pleasant with a delightful ambience. The only downer was the internet service which was lousy during our stay. Sending and receiving simple emails was tolerable but browsing web pages usually caused me to weep with frustration. This hotel seriously needs to upgrade this facility. The hotel seemed to have around a 25% occupancy rate when I was there. I shudder to think about what the wifi would be like during high season

Room tip: Get yourself a beachfront room

We stayed for 3 nights this week. The Rosamar is a medium sized hotel situated right on the beach in quite a built up area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a nice relaxed seating area in front of the hotel to have drinks and watch the world go by. There is rather unexpectedly a nice pool area behind the hotel. The staff are friendly but limited English. Breakfast is slightly limited. We did not eat there in the evening. Other slight drawbacks: it is difficult to park in front of the hotel and to load/unload luggage you have to drive around to a rather tight rear garage. The hotel parking is secure outdoor but is 300 metres from the rear. It is free but there is a 10 euro deposit for the key. Would stay there again.

Room tip: Sea view best. It was not noisy when we were there.
