We have stopped here quite a few times over the years its always clean comfortable friendly and well run ,Although breakfast was adequate it could have been a lot hotter. The staff here are very good if you to book a perticular room.Drinks at the bar are actually cheaper than local pub.

Room tip: end of block less through traffic

Late off ferry at Plymouth,I rang to enquire availability,no problem, please come.
We arrived twenty minutes later,Chloe was very friendly, booked us into a lovely clean, warm, room.
We had snacks, drinks in the bar ,very nice,as was breakfast, good choice, nice selection and the plates and food were hot.
A long walk to some rooms, for old and disabled, but this due to the layout of the building which I used a lot thirty five to forty years ago, when it was called the Kenn motel.

Room tip: Possibly book early and request room near reception, all on one level.very quiet.

I would have left an excellent review because as a motel this is perfect. My issue is that a hotel alarm went off at 2am and woke us. Not knowing what it was I Called reception and told the night porter that the alarm was going off and asked what it was. His response was astonishing .. "I am just investigating!" Surly!! Did we have to evacuate? Was there a fire? We're we in danger? Nothing more was heard from the staff!! When asking at reception in the morning what happened and why we were not told that it was not a fire, we were told that a guest had either used an aerosol or was smoking in the room. A half heartedly apology didn't really address our concerns. For this event alone we will avoid this hotel when next in Devon. If you want to go to sleep and wake up the next morning safely I would suggest you do the same. Sorry!

Room tip: Check the evacuation procedure!

This is a motel style hotel with plenty of parking. Rooms are on the small side, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a little on the expensive side, but of reasonable quality. If you are looking for a convenient overnight stop whilst travelling, this hotel is ideal, being just off the A38.
But, it is some distance out of the centre of Exeter if you wish to explore the city over two or three days, or enjoy its nightlife, and the taxi fare is expensive. It is convenient for Sandy Park if you wish to attend the rugby, but if you want to enjoy a drink, the same caveat regarding taxis still applies. We were there for the rugby and it involved considerable extra expense.

Exeter Court Hotel

Kennford

Do not stay here! Really creepy and low rent

The weirdest creepy place to stay, felt very unsafe with horror film style mobile apartments off down public walkways. Shabby, old, creepy, Really low rent weird vibes. Left within seconds of arriving.
