The hotel is situated in the countryside, with stunning views. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a ground floor room and were able to take the car straight to the room and take the bags in through the patio doors. Very warm and friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely book again.

A warm welcome and two very delicious cocktails in the lounge were the perfect start to our date night. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is relaxing. The service was quick and friendly. But the best thing was the food! My husband had beef brisket which was so tender and came in a rich tasty jus. I had the spicy king prawn risotto which was delicious!
We finished with salted caramel and chocolate tart served with chantilly cream and berries...divine.
I can't wait to return.
We visit the bar/lounge each week and use the driving range/golf course. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service is good and food excellent. The bar/lounge area is clean and comfortable to relax with pre-drinks or after a meal. There are dogs allowed in this area and we have never experienced issues . I understand some people do not like dogs in bars/restaurants, but this does not detract from the lovely surroundings and service. Judging by the numbers of weddings at the venue and numbers attending regular music shows, many people obviously agree.
This is our local place we frequently meet up with friends for a drink , meal or just a catch up , the staff are friendly, welcoming and extremely professional, They are very welcoming to fur babies as well as families. We visit every week and have done for a few years now to meet up with friends and family. I have taken my dog and my grandchild and we have always had a lovely tranquil time here.
Staff very friendly, restaurant and bar areas lovely. Rooms ok but very dated however they were clean. The toilet in one of the rooms flushed constantly throughout the night then in the morning wouldn’t flush - when we mentioned this we were told they were sorry about that - not too good a response in my opinion. Food in the restaurant that evening was delicious. Ordered 2 cocktails mine was a porn star martini but didn’t look or taste like one so it didn’t get drank. A pleasant enough evening however, I feel it was overpriced and maybe that’s why it seemed empty. Maybe they should do breakfast room and evening meal offers. We could have stayed at Redworth Hall cheaper and had use of the leisure facilities for less than we paid. I’d give it a 6/7 out of 10
