Stayed at this hotel so we could visit Beamish. Great location.
The food is amazing.
The chicken supreme is outstanding.
Staff are attentive.
Hotel is absolutely lovely and would stay again.
I expect breakfast will be great.

We had lunch at the Beamish Park restaurant yesterday. The restaurant is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. We all had mains and desserts and the main courses were reasonably priced and good quality. Three of our party chose Mango Bavarois which they enjoyed. I chose the cheesecake which was delicious but the portion was about the size of my finger. For £7.50 I expected a slice of cheesecake. Another of our party had 3 scoops of ice cream costing £6. Again these scoops were very small for the price. Would return to this hotel for a meal, however, I won’t be having a dessert.

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location with very friendly staff. We were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make it a special stay, leaving a card and rose petals in our room as well as decorating our table in the restaurant- thank you, we really appreciated it.
We had a large deluxe room on first floor. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and facilities were good.
Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals etc to self serve and cooked food made to order which was of a high standard. We ate in the restaurant each night and the food was excellent quality, served by very friendly staff.
Location is excellent, very close to Beamish museum and we caught the bus into Newcastle close to the hotel which was far more relaxing than trying to park!
A great stay, would highly recommend.
Room tip: Good car park at hotel. Some of the ground floor rooms have parking bay right outside.

The hotel is situated in the countryside, with stunning views. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a ground floor room and were able to take the car straight to the room and take the bags in through the patio doors. Very warm and friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely book again.
Room tip: Dogs are allowed.

We live very local to this restaurant and we're kicking ourselves that we hadn't visited sooner!
A warm welcome and two very delicious cocktails in the lounge were the perfect start to our date night. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is relaxing. The service was quick and friendly. But the best thing was the food! My husband had beef brisket which was so tender and came in a rich tasty jus. I had the spicy king prawn risotto which was delicious!
We finished with salted caramel and chocolate tart served with chantilly cream and berries...divine.
I can't wait to return.

We visit the bar/lounge each week and use the driving range/golf course. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service is good and food excellent. The bar/lounge area is clean and comfortable to relax with pre-drinks or after a meal. There are dogs allowed in this area and we have never experienced issues . I understand some people do not like dogs in bars/restaurants, but this does not detract from the lovely surroundings and service. Judging by the numbers of weddings at the venue and numbers attending regular music shows, many people obviously agree.
Room tip: If you visit for a meal and there is a wedding on or music event, the bar area can be very busy, so be patient.
