I booked this hotel as regularly stay with Premier Inn hotels around the country, I know what to expect and the beds are very comfortable.
However on this occasion, this Premier Inn just did not hit the mark.
But arriving later in the day and in the dark, I checked in swiftly and went to my room. At no stage did the reception staff ask me to validate my car registration number with them nor advise that I had too, now I am in receipt of a £60 parking charge, which I will appeal. Apparently there is signage in the car park but arriving in the dark it cannot be seen.
As far as I was aware it clearly states on the booking page for this hotel stating free parking and does not mention you have to validate your car registration number, so a heads up if you decide to book this hotel.
Also 4g/5g and wifi reception is non existent, no signal at all.
My room was absolutely fine and very clean and all the staff as usual are friendly and polite. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant clean.
I would not stay at this particular Premier Inn again due to these issues.
