A wonderfully enjoyable experience. Excellent food, lovely and warm staff, lovely and comfortable beds and room. The setting is so inviting and not only is the whole staying experience lovely but the little town provides much to see and the Behesda Tower have a community project whereby they do many wonderful arts and crafts. We purchased lovely cushion covers and were also given a personal tour of the tapestry room which is made by the locals. One of the best experiences ever.

Room Tip: Ask for the Tower Penthouse Suite. So lovely.

We stayed there for one night and it was a unique experience. The view, the room decoration and the awesome hosts make it a very good value for money. There was no problem with the cold because the room has heaters. Totally recommend it :)

We stayed the night in the top of the tower. The bed is so big we needed a satnav to find each other! The room and bedding was immaculate and the views wonderful. The only down side is if you have a weak bladder – to toilet is at the bottom of the tower.

Earlier on we ate at the restaurant where the food was freshly cooked and presented by a very friendly gent. The restaurant is decorated with the works of local artists and all their work is for sale should you wish to purchase.

After our meal we walked around the small town, meeting some lovely local folks and chatting. This is a magical place where everybody appears to get on and life is going at a steady pace.

Room Tip: if you are fit, go for the top floor and look out the windows at night

The rooms are quite small and you have to share a bathroom but the quaint town is worth visiting! And the food... I would wait hours for the delicious lamb- though it doesn't take hours! If you do visit Nieu Bethesda then this is the hotel to stay at!
