Menu very limited, decor terrible. Service much better than usual Mauritian places. Vegetable dish for vegetarian was defrosted veg from a packet in curry sauce - embarrassing! Prawns were ok but not value for money at all. Would not go back!

Good: Food tasted well. Quickly served.
Bad: If you are a tourist (or look like one) don't go there. Checking other reviews of foreigners over the internet shows its a tourist rip off trap. I've been there twice before with local friends and family and the price was ok.

First they brought in a very dry and leathery looking red snapper which was supposed to be caught that day.
Nothing vegetarian on the menu which seemed to show decent prices.
Nevertheless they provided a veg curry aubergine, mushrooms from the can and carrotstrips with a bit lentils and rice for outstanding ! 450Rs ! Couldn't recall a dish on the menu at that price for which above are probably the sides.
Coffee (Nescafe) ! 125Rs !
Even in way more touristic Grand Baie you can get great food for less of the overall price here.

Dirty tables, we ordered 2 starters and juices, the chicken was burned, my "seafood" salad tasted like something that you buy from the supermarket in the pack
Cheap juice tastes like a powder in water
We left once we tried a starter
We haven't even finished the food
For 2 starters and cheap "juices" we paid £28
Something you would pay in a nice restaurant in central London
