I recently stayed at the Vine Cottage on a trip back to Lancashire to visit my family. I was originally looking for a basic B and B but I am so thankful I stumbled upon this gorgeous cottage. It is beautifully renovated, very clean, and truly felt like a home. As I was not on a sight seeing holiday I spent a considerable amount of time at the cottage. It was the perfect place for me to have people over to visit, cook, or just watch TV. It really did feel like my little home for nine days. It is in a fantastic location for getting around the Fylde and Lancashire in general. Gt. Eccleston is a lovely English village. I grew up in this area and so it was wonderful to revisit some of the shops and pubs. I especially enjoyed taking walks in the countryside. The Courtyard Cafe in the village, which is also owned by Emma and Jez, is very quaint and the perfect spot for afternoon tea. These guys know how to take care of people. I absolutely loved my time at Vine Cottage and highly recommend it for a short or long stay. I will be back!!

We had a lovely little break away. Cottage was fantastic and had all we needed for our stay. After a visit to the Blackpool tower and Madame Tussaud's we head to the vine cottage. It took about 25 minutes in traffic. When we got there is was a nice surprise to have coffee and fresh milk waiting for us. Everything was thought of and felt like a home. We spent the evening at the illumanations and tucking into a nice Indians at a little town near by.
The following day we went to the pleasure beach, which the boys really enjoyed. Got a tram to the north pier then walked along the beach enjoying a donkey ride along the way. After a long day we decided to get a take away and all sat round the table together and the boys had a game of monopoly (another nice touch) early night in the super Cosie bed. Overall we had a super break and would defo stay at vine cottage again.

We've just got home from a fantastic stay. Our 6 year old wanted to do the sights and fun of blackpool and our 8 week old (and mummy and daddy) wanted the peace and quiet! Great Eccleston is far enough away from the late night noises but close enough for all the day time fun.
The cottage was a perfect size, clean and we'll decorated. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer!!
The owners also own the caffe in the village which does a fab breakfast! X

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week long family holiday in your beautiful cottage. It is well laid out and beautifully furnished. Everything you need and more to make you feel at home. The cottage is in a great location for the local amenities or for days out to the various attractions. Our thanks for the cream tea at the courtyard caffe when we arrived it was delicious and very much appreciated.

“Fantastic cottage”

We stayed in this cottage for 2 nights, but would have liked to stay longer. The cottage is situated in a beautiful village with plenty of nice places to eat out. It has several pubs, a very good fish and chip shop and a nice Cafe. It also has an excellent bakery. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep.
The cottage is set in a little lane with parking in front of the house. The cottage is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. It has both old world charm and modern day comforts. We really enjoyed staying here. There is a little patio area which has an abundance of flowers; making it a very pleasant place to sit. The owners were very welcoming and helpful ; making it altogether a very pleasing place to stay.

We had a fantastic first family holiday in this perfect little cottage set in a quaint little village. Ideal for holidaying with children and dog. Great location for fun days out in st.anne's and blackpool. Cottage has everything you need with a great cafe, pubs and supermarket a short walk away! Great views and walks for dog too! Owners were lovely and very helpful! Defo worth a visit!
