We were recommended to this restaurant which specializes in pizzas and steaks for dinner by the Agriturismo we were staying. We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, but we could see that they had just opened after the afternoon siesta. They were setting up the tables. They apologized and told us that they only open in the evenings at 8pm. We liked the looked of the restaurant. So we asked them if we needed to make a reservation but they said it wasn't necessary. When we returned at 8pm, we could see the pizza brick oven had been lit and had logs blazing away inside. A couple of tables were occupied by families with children. At the entrance to the restaurant, there's a refrigerator with meat in it. Here you can choose your cut of steak. Since we liked the sight of the burning logs in the brick oven , we decided we had to try a pizza as it's one of their specialties. We chose the Four Seasons pizza which was very nice. The pizza is dived into four sections each one with a different topping . I'm glad we shared it as the pizzas are huge! My husband also wanted to try a steak as he said it looked good quality meat. So again we shared a steak. Luckily we did as the portions here are very generous! The steak arrived sizzling on a hot iron plate. We ordered a mixed salad as well. For dessert, we shared a kind of pistachio parfait which was mediocre. Their pizzas and steaks are definitely their specialty. We had half a carafe of their house red wine with the meal and an espresso at the end. The price was amazing and so inexpensive for what we had ordered and the portions we received. By the time we left the restaurant it was buzzing with the people. Definitely a place to go to for pizza and steaks especially if you're looking for an authentic restaurant where the locals eat. The service was good too . Overall, I would recommend this restaurant as the food is very good, huge portions and at a reasonable price.
