“Lovely, lovely, lovely”
Reviewed January 3, 2018 for a stay in December 2017

We went as a family me, my husband, my daughter (14), son (11), Lolly and Woody (our Jack Russells) our aim was to 'get away,' relax and have a stress free Christmas. For the money we paid just over £350 for 4 nights over the Christmas period this was the bargain of the century. The cottage was warm, cosy, clean, and better equipped that perhaps my own home! It had a lovely character even containing an old graffitied beam in the bedroom. The information pack was fantastic and so, so detailed, the book about the history of the farm was a nice read too. The kids were thrilled there was free working wi-fi. The scenery of the surrounding area was beautiful, we did manage the farm walk but due to the weather and time of year it was quite muddy crossing the fields, but this made it an adventure. There aS a secure area outside the cottage where the dogs could be let off right near the stream which runs right past the cottage. The local pubs are mostly dog friendly, and the Welsh are very friendly to, it was really nice to go to Pontadawe on Christmas Day and visit a couple. It is ideally placed for the Brecon Beacons, caves and waterfalls as well as being driving distance to the beautiful beaches of Gower and Mumbles. Swansea is also lovely to visit with their indoor market.

We achieved our aim and came away feeling relaxed. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the summertime

We are delighted that you had such a good time over the Christmas period and hope to welcome you to the farm again in future. Swansea market is indeed a great place to visit. Neath has a great one too with bags of character. Something for next time!

“Absolutely Great in Every Respect”
Reviewed July 11, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

My wife and I (and Murphy the Terrier) fell in love with this wonderful cottage (a converted farmhouse) located several hundred yards up a farm track next to a babbling stream.

Located nicley for the Brecons and the Gower the list of options available is too great to list here - but was cleverly recorded in a dossier of places to go, what to see, where to eat and drink, etc. The most comprehensive such document we have ever found - and we have done a bit of travelling in Europe /Scotland / Ireland over the past twenty years.

The family owners were really helpful and the cottage appointed to the highest order.

We shall return.
