This lodge is as far as I could see the best lodge on the park, for a hen weekend of 10 ladies it had everything we could wish for. A beautiful balcony overlooking the lake and a complimentary bottle of presseco left by the owner to enjoy. A lovely large living space perfect for everyone to sit around the table and enjoy a meal together. We all had great fun in the evening sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub (the disco lights raised a lot of excitement). Every member of my party loved osprey lodge and said they would all like to return! We had a rainy day so everyone got cosy and watched the movies provided, it's a very warm and cosy lodge I can't recommend highly enough I hope to return next year.
Our party of 9 (adults and teenagers) have just returned from a wonderful weeks break at Osprey Lodge.
This is by far the most spectacular accommodation we have ever stayed in. The typical UK weather was not as inviting but there's no nicer place to spend a day indoors enjoying the various board games, dvd's, wii games etc which are all provided by the owner. Not forgetting of course, the hot-tub which is welcoming in all weathers.
The site is great for water-sports, golf, fishing and lovely walks taking in the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful break in a quiet area this is the place to be!

We have just returned from 5 nights at Osprey Lodge and cannot rate it highly enough. The pictures on here don’t really do it justice at all and we didn’t think to take any, as my husband just did skype tours for our parents, so that they could appreciate how nice it was tooJ It was a great find and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the park unless I really have to (like this week when Osprey is booked outL) Leslee, the owner, was lovely to deal with. Very helpful and accommodating from beginning to end and as flexible as she can be re arrival times etc.
The lodge is immaculate and has every home comfort you would need. Even though there were only 2 of us, we could appreciate the value of the lodge and the layout for a larger party. Leslee has thought of everything. There are plenty of games for the kids, a wii, wifi, football table downstairs in the hallway. We can’t wait to return next year. It really is like a home from home and very cosy, even without the central hearing or wooden log burner. From the moment we opened the door, we just knew we were going to love staying there and were very sad to leave it on Sunday. There is just such a nice feel about the place. You wouldn’t even have to leave it for the duration of your stay to have a great holiday! It has a balcony facing the lake with plenty of seating/tables and a veranda with hot tub and outside dining table/chairs. We discovered by accident one night that the veranda lights were kind of cute disco type lighting, which was very effective in the evening. The ensuite and master bathroom are both very good sizes. The upper floor is so spacious, with 3 large sofas and plenty of dining space, that a large party could spread out and not feel cramped at all. The bedrooms are all downstairs, together with a large storage room with an iron, ironing board, airer and large wardrobe.
The lodge is set on a large corner plot in a quieter part of the park, with only about half a dozen lodges which is really great and affords plenty of privacy which you will appreciate. However, it is within an easy 10 minute walk to the entertainment area, so you really do have the best of both worlds. You can buy passes from guest services which will give you access to the pool, bar etc. The lodge doesn’t have a washing machine, but there is a laundrette on site and an outside rotary drier at the lodge. The laundrette on the site gets busy. It is small and has only 2 machines, so if you need to do washing, it is worth a 5-10 min drive to Coningsby which has a larger and better one and you can have a wander around the village shops or visit one of the local coffee shops while you wait. There is also a good fish and chip shop there called Chipmunks. Again better to travel there than to go to the one in Tattershall itself. There is plenty to do on the park. Great Lake walks and sports, plus entertainment for the kids.
All in all, a great holiday home which we highly recommend.
