Well it is a pub so it is gonna be noisy and perhaps not for families with young children .
The food is great kebabs , mixed grills and obviously with a pint or 2 is a great way to unwind and chill . There are large screen tv to watch sport or some music while munching on the food . Reasonable prices too but parking is a pain so be prepared to walk a bit as there is the council controlled parking zones .

Order a drink and mixed grill at the bar, sit back enjoy the no frills atmosphere. The aromas of the food being cooked and served hit your senses and the anticipation of your order arriving accelerates!
It arrives, and abundance of kebabs, chops, wings and tikka done to perfection!
Absolutely the best value for money mixed grill in these parts!

Traditional English style pub with friendly staff and a decent pint, traditional Indian food that was impeccable, absolutely delicious.

Visit Southal twice a month never really had time to go in, however managed to go twice in 2 days!!! How the waiting paid off...sheekh kebabs were amazing, mixed grill amazing, naans soft and well done half tandoori chicken which is very rare in pubs absolutely brilliant...best of all the prices were well below what I would expect for the quality...i will definitely go back...

Look, this place is simply brilliant. The food is as good as it gets, fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and the clientele make for a terrifically sociable, bouyant, atmospheric and welcoming visit.
As food pubs go, in my opinion, it's as good as it gets and I'm Irish!
Love it.
