We've been visiting the Ponte del Diavolo over a period of nearly ten years and have never been disappointed. It's in a beautiful setting, although this time we were indoors for the first time, having previously visited during the summer months. There's a warm welcome, and consistently good service. The menu is quite extensive, with a wide variety of interesting and innovative dishes involving a range of different meats and fishes. I had octopus in a thick spicy sauce with polenta this time, followed by fritto misto with tempura vegetables. My wife had scallops followed by turbot, both beautifully cooked and presented. Desserts are quite spectacular too, and there's an excellent wine list. Lunch isn't cheap, but we reckon it's very good value and a very good reason for travelling to Torcello!
