A warm welcome to this delightful hotel on the North Norfolk coast. Excellent ambience, well maintained. An impressive restaurant and equally enjoyable bar. A good choice of meals in the bar and restaurant. Well cooked and presented. Breakfast was also a delight. Spacious and well appointed room. And to cap all that the staff were welcoming, polite and efficient.

Our group of 8 couples held our annual trip to Hunstanton, North Norfolk. As we have done for the past 14 years, we stayed at the Lodge in Old Hunstanton. The hotel was warm and welcoming, as usual, with a great range of wines and beers. Coupled with a roaring log fire, we soon settled in. We were very well looked after by Brittany and her team, and enjoyed an excellent two night stay. Needless to say, we have already booked for 2023!

After an unpleasant few days I needed a break, so took myself off to Norfolk on a whim. Found The Lodge online and wasn't expecting much for the late booking rate of £82 including breakfast, to be honest. However the welcome from Anna (I think) was amazing and I was showed to the very comfortable and cosy Room 8 which had both a bath and shower and was quiet and warm. I came down for dinner and had lovely Parsnip Fritters with blue cheese dip and Moules Frites all served with friendliness and care. Lovely hot bath using their nice smelling products and I was fast asleep by 9:30pm! Breakfast of smashed avocado and poached egg on sourdough was fabulous, whilst i did some work on my laptop. I didn't want to leave really, the whole place oozed cheerful happiness and the young staff were all obviously happy in their jobs. I will definitely be back. What a lovely place.
Room tip: Large car park out the back. Road isn't too busy.

Brilliant Unique Hotel for short or long stay. Chose this hotel online to meet up with a friend not seen since 2020. For us both an ideal, attractive, friendly Bar, Restaurant and Lounge area with log fire. All the Staff were welcoming, interested and helpful with guidance and advice on local walks and places to visit even in December! The bedrooms were ideal and as review photos show are all of different designs. We will certainly return to meet up again and will also recommend to friends. You can walk easily down to Old Hunstanton beach which we found extensive and so huge at times you walk with the beach empty! The coloured cliffs have to be found.
Room tip: Parking excellent in front of The Lodge with an extra further car park.
Extensive sandy Beach close. Coastal buses hourly. Bus Stops outside

our umpteenth stay at the lodge hotel old hunstanton, it just get's better every time. The room was great the staff friendly and good at their job, food was excellenthe one good thing is they don't allow dogs in the main restaurant,[ take note other pubs / hotels] as it's seems to be the norm to want to feed your dog as well as your selves.keep up the good work be back in feb 2023.
