Travelled from Norfolk on 17th March 2018, it was bitterly cold with driving snow flurries, we wondered if we should turn back and forget our holiday, but we soldiered bravely on into Yorkshire to be greeted by even more snow, eventually after an 8 hour drive Inc. breaks we arrived at Langhill Cottages. We felt shattered but a warm cosy cottage awaited.
We entered into Dutch Blues and was amazed at how much space there was, 4 well appointed rooms, Kitchen/Diner, Living room, Toilet/Bathroom off libving room, and large Bedroom also off living room.
Seems that every room had all you required for a comfortable stay.
Our Norfolk terrier called Monty was made very welcome, and soon made himself at home.
WiFi runs at around 15Mbs, fast enough for most things, if you want to use.
The cottage was clean, well furnished, light and airy, but most of all peaceful, ample off road parking outside your cottage which is handy for loading and unloading luggage after a long journey.
Will highly recommend these cottages along with the new owners Alan and Hilary Chapman, two very helpful hosts. We wish them every success in there new business.More
