We stayed here for one night whilst touring Vietnam, the location was fabulous and the bike hire at the hotel was brilliant for seeing the local area. The rooms were large and clean and loved the outside shower option. Food and good and staff friendly all in all a very pleasant experience

Room Tip: Try and get one overlooking the paddy fields

The hotel is set into the hillside with stunning views over the rice fields. We had a Junior Deluxe room which was right at the front, with uninterrupted views. The room itself was more like an individual chalet, it was rustic in design but large and comfortable. We were amazed to discover that underneath our large decked seating area was another seating area, totally in the shade for hot sunny days and with a small private pool.
The people in the hotel were absolutely delightful, very friendly and helpful. We ate from the a la carte menu in the restaurant and the food was very good. There was a performance of local dancing every evening for guests.
There are some lovely walks near the hotel, through the rural scenery and the rice fields where you can see everyday life for the local people, who smile and wave at you as you go by.
A very relaxed place to stay with far less tourists than further south. We would love to return in the future.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite directly facing the rice fields for uninterrupted views

We had luckily opted for one of the better rooms down overlooking the rice paddies, which was gorgeous and quiet and had its own plunge pool. But the beds are on the short side for westerners ( I am 5 ft 7ins and my feet were right at the very end of the bed - pity my husband who is 6 ft 4. The bed was also very hard, so not a comfortable night's sleep really. The food was okay but not great, especially breakfast which offered a poor choice. Especially when large tour groups have plundered the buffet at 7 am ! There is also a set menu, so no flexibility on that one. The large groups also monopolize what is otherwise a lovely pool area.

Room Tip: Well worth asking for room down with own plunge pool, overlooking the rice paddy fields

Stayed here for two nights at the start of our trip to Vietnam. What a beautiful place. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for. Bathrooms are stunning with good showers over an amazing wooden bath. Views from the veranda are spectacular with lots of local activity to watch - gives a real sense of how people live in such a rural community. All staff were friendly and professional. All queries or slight problems (ie. we messed up the safe!) were sorted out within minutes. Food was really good as was the (really reasonably priced) massage. Simply cannot recommend this place enough - especially if you need a break from the sensory overload that is much of the rest of Vietnam.

Visited here for a few days during a tour of Vietnam and could not recommend it highly enough! The lodges are lovely, as are the views over the rice paddies. The cycling tour is 100% worth doing, as is a walking tour if available. The food in the restaurant with the lodges was really enjoyable, especially the salads (such as the banana flower salad) which are incredibly tasty!
