A most relaxing weekend getaway, service was 100% more friendlier, attentive and filled with smiles. Ordered Room service, cooked to order quickly arrived and quite delicious. But the best part, a full morning of pamper mode...Facial, Pedicure & full body Massages. Amazing and just what we needed! This property has all the amenities that you can possible ask for. The location is remote and private with scenic ocean and mountain views but above all you will leave feeling renewed, revived and replenished.

If you're looking for that big lux resort hotel on the beach this is a very good choice. All of the staff very helpful and very friendly. The rooms of course are very comfortable, it's a Westin after all. As a plus it's in a quiet corner of the Dutch side of the island.

My family and I just returned from Sint Maarten after 9 days at The Westin Dawn Beach. Our stay was fantastic! We've stayed at so many Westin and Starwood properties across the Caribbean, Mexico and the US and this hotel was easily one of our most favorites.

Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. All the parking is covered and close to the front doors. The doormen will happily retrieve your car for you - valet is free, or self parking and pick up is simple, too.

I will start with our one and only complaint - because there are really only great things to say after this. The food needs improvement. I can't comment on Aura because it was closed during our visit. We ate a few meals at Ocean's and found the food to be very lacking. I had a steak the first night and it was very small and badly overcooked. The kids food was pretty dry, the fries were soggy, etc. The salad was overdressed and not impressive. I did like the turkey mozzarella sandwich though. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and mostly very good with a million choices and a made to order omelet station. The food at Liquid, the poolside restaurant was just, not good. We ordered some nachos the first day to tide us over until dinner. They were bagged chips with that yucky yellow canned cheese and jarred jalapenos on top. We decided not to eat there again. The second to last day we ordered chips and salsa because my kids were starving. Again, soggy chips and obliviously jarred salsa. Kevin, the restaurant manager is SO Nice! Do not miss having a conversation with him. He's full of knowledge and we could tell genuinely loves his job! Luckily, the island is flush with incredible places to eat that are easy to drive to and worth it.

The beach is beautiful and overlooks a gorgeous view of the Atlantic with a pretty view of St. Barth's in the distance. The sand is powdery white with hints of pink and the water is crystal clear and a bright turquoise color. The beach is private and nice and long for walking up and down any time of the day. Extremely safe. The beach is large enough to spread out and we never felt crowded. There are no cabana's to rent, but the pool and beach staff will happily set up umbrellas or a beach hood for your day on the sand. Jeffon and Wewe were so helpful with anything we needed regarding towels and anything around the beach or pool!

The pool is huge with a swim up pool bar that is really nice. Patrick was on point with his service for drinks and food. The whole bar staff was friendly and helpful. The pool is refreshing and the lounge chairs surrounding it are comfy. A nice touch are the flags on the side of the chair to raise when you'd like service. Since it's more off season we did not have to fight for chairs at the beach or pool. On Fri and Sat afternoons they have live music. The only complaint that I have about the pool is that it could be skimmed a bit more. There was a fair amount of palm tree debris in the lower pool that could have been removed to help it feel more clean. We really liked the ice cream cart off the pool. Lot of different flavors that changed daily and it was refreshing and very tasty.

A nice touch was a beachside bonefire with a s'more station, shaved ice and popcorn on Wednesday and Saturday evening. That was a great time to chat with staff and fellow guests. My kids loved making s'mores and eating the other treats!

We had an oceanview room on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We were above Ocean's Restaurant and at times in the evening it did get a tad noisy with the dining crowd and clanging silverware. This did not bother us, but it might be bothersome to others. Otherwise the hotel is extremely quiet! We never heard a door slam, a toilet flush or or a shower turn on.

My daughters (ages 10 and 5) and I used the spa to get a pedicure. The front desk was very nice and the ladies who did our toes were nice.

We did not use the Casino at all and found it to be empty the entire time we were there. Again, it's off season, so maybe it's more lively at other times of the year. We didn't spend any time at the Lobby bar but it appeared lively and fun.

We will go back to the hotel on our next visit to the island! Dan, Daniel and Dane were so nice, they chatted with everyone around the property and made sure no detail was missed.

Thank you Westin! We'll see you soon I'm sure!

We exchanged our timeshare for a week at Dawn Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful. We stayed at a 3 bedroom, very spacious apartment. The place is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, bedsheets white and clean, towel service daily, room decor is lovely. The beach and pool are great fun. Liquid, the swim up bar is great. My boys enjoyed the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, the ocean temperature was really warm. The resort has the biggest hot tub. Also, the staff is very friendly. My boys clogged a toilet and the guy showed up 5 minutes after I called to report it. If you think about exchanging your timeshare, do it, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend it.

Great place to stay! We stayed at the Dawn Beach Club condos and loved it, Joelka was a big help and very friendly. They have a running course that is brutal but very beautiful! One bit of advice on the run is to walk the first hill before starting your run, one of the concierge's gave me that advice and it would of made a world of difference..... once you see it you will understand
