The room was incredibly clean, the shower was lovely and big but the bit that made the stay excellent was the receptionists. We met Dave and Aggie and both were absolutely amazing. Both very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much. Really appreciated everything they did for us.

Having used this hotel when my daughter was living and working nearby, we knew that this was an ideal stopover for a journey to the Lake District. A little bit of a detour from the M6, it is a quiet and peaceful location that made sure we reached the Lakes refreshed and in plenty of time to check in to our cottage and still enjoy the late afternoon in town.

I was attending a course and needed a place to spend the night . The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. It was a short distance away from the Rainhill railway station. No restaurant at the hotel but there was a pub next door .

We stayed here two nights and travelled into Liverpool by bus on all three days. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff exceptionally friendly and room lovely and quiet. We got the no 10A Arriva
/Stagecoach bus into Liverpool daily. £4.20 day ticket, was a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Whilst in Liverpool would recommend doing the sanderman walking tour.
