I know other people rave about this trip. Wish we had been on that trip with their guide.
We did the kayaking, which was my favorite part. 2 hours of easy kayaking. We payed $35 p/p for a double kayak. Usually $45 if you don’t have your own equipment.
Kayaking was easy, not a great distance. We saw a couple of penguins from the rocks, crabs. The snorkeling might have been great, but we were left on our own to explore. Our guide played on his phone, then snorkeled by himself like we weren’t even there. Curious behavior, but oh well. We saw a few fish and a couple fo sea turtles, but nothing extraordinary. As with many tours, it depends on your guide.

Nice half-day introduction into the wildlife of Isabella. It's a group of small islets, more like rocks pieced together to form a rocky-lava landscape. We saw seals lounging on the rocks, the sand, in the water. We even saw the Galapagos penguins! Marine Iguanas abound. At this point, the iguanas are to young to enter the water, and fly over the rocky surfaces and the path. They even hang from the walls! You have to be very careful not to step on one because they don't move for you. At one point, there is a narrow channel filled with shocking clear water and filled with peacefully sleeping white-tipped sharks. The tour is perfect for wildlife lovers and visitors of all ages. The marine iguanas are a delight to watch. Beautiful and interesting. Just a half-day giving you plenty of time to add another snorkel along the beach or a stroll through town and out onto the beach paths leading out of town.

We loved our half-day tour here. The experience was like no other and it will not be what you expect! Snorkeling through a narrow channel with so many sharks is a great story!

On this 3 hour tour I finally saw penguins!
We paid $45 for a very good tour. My husband saw more fish on this tour than any of the other ones he did. He snorkelled with an abundance for sea turtles as well . We also saw white tipped sharks in a lagoon that they enter for the day and swim out with the tide. The guide was excellent and responsible ensuring those who needed/wanted life jackets while snorkelling had them. We booked the 12:00 tour and were happy we did!
