We Stayed at Villa Frideriki in September 2016.
Firstly the proprietors. Elena, Nikos and Friderki were the best hosts/people you could ever wish to meet. The offer of coffee, biscuits and a chat were always on the menu, though never in an intrusive way. Elena speaks excellent English and has a wealth of knowledge about the island, places to eat, where the best beaches are etc, etc, and provided maps and reference books for numerous walks on the island, ( both long and short) she has a warm welcoming, personable manner and is genuinely interested in her guests wellbeing and that their visit to Skiathos be a relaxing stress free experience. she is a credit to the place. and a joy to have met. A lovely touch to our visit was Elena's kind offer to collect us from and return us to the airport.
The rooms / apartments themselves 10 in total with balconies, 8 of which have beautiful sea views, the other 2 have equally beautiful mountain views are typically Greek, impeccably clean and serviced daily. the villa is elevated and about 200m back from the road and approximately 350m from a delightful long beach with all the services you would require on a beach, the shops/mini market, tavernas and local bus services are also within a 300m walk.
The villa is situated in a peaceful idyllic setting central to numerous beautiful beaches, restaurants, woodland walks, and is a short bus ride to the main town on the island. it is suitable for both couples and families with an excellent 24/7 WiFi service.
This truly is an exceptional place to spend a relaxing hassle free holiday, with outstanding hosts. As a point to note nearly all the other guests we spoke to were there on subsequent visits, which in itself speaks volumes.
If you require room service, Kids clubs, Gyms and all the trappings of a commercial hotel this may not be the place for you. If you want to relax, experience genuine Greek hospitality and let all your troubles and stress wash away. then don't miss this place it's an absolute tonic. Thank you all at Villa Frideriki for a wonderful rejuvenating stay. see you next year. I & T

Room Tip: All the rooms had lovely views a sunny aspect and were well equipped.

We spent 6 days in one of the apartments this year and I strongly recommend this place. Villa Frideriki is situated in a perfect position: it is across the road from a lovely sandy beach (one of the best beaches in the island, in my opinion) with several other beaches nearby. it is close to bus stop 16 and Skiathos has a regular bus service to move from and to the town and along the coast to visit the large majority of available beaches. within 5 minutes by walk there are some good tavernas ("Jimmi's" is very close and is one of the best in the island) and also two supermarkets. However, the area is also quite so that have a rest after a day around the island would not be a problem. Apartments are very clean (and cleaned on daily basis) and full of facilities, including wi-fi, kitchen and tools to prepare snacks or meals. The rooms are well laid out with balconies with great views as well. Elena and her family are just great and make you feel really welcome. Elena will collect you from the airport if you contact her in advance, she will give you all the information and suggestions you will need, and would often welcome you offering coffee and drinks. You will feel there like at home. There is a steep approach to the place but we were two families with young children and strollers as well and it had not been a problem. I strongly recommend this place and I will definitevely return. Great island, great beaches, great apartments.

I spent 10 days at these self catering apartments as a solo traveller. Elena and her mother are wonderful and they ensure you have a brilliant stay. Elena will collect you from the airport if you contact her direct in advance, book through the Villa Fridericki website. The rooms are well laid out with balconies with great views, set in well tended, tranquil gardens. The place is spotless and very comfortable, with helpful touches like a hair dryer, and towells and sheets changed every other day. After a day out exploring, or swimming and snorkeling, Elena would often welcome you with a drink. She provides lots of helpful information and epitomises Greek hospitality. Dotted around the gardens and on balconies are wonderful small sculptures made of driftwood which have been made by Elena's husband. Villa Frideriki is situated across the road from a lovely sandy beach with lots of other great beaches nearby. Bus stop 16 is nearby and Skiathos has a reliable and regular bus service to take you into town or further up the coast. It is a great place to be based because you have easy access to lovely beaches, great sights and walks, there are heaps of great places to eat and two supermarkets in walking distance, with a donkey sanctuary and inland walks nearby too. You can take great boat trips from the port in Skiathos Town and Elena will give you lots of helpful information. There is wi fi for those who need it and all the things you need to make snacks or meals. It is hard to praise this place too highly: lovely location, great apartment, wonderful people, stunning views, on an island that you never get tired of. There is a very short, steep approach to the apartments but I managed this every day even though I have bad asthma. Elena and her family made me feel so welcome that I did not want to leave. I will undoubtedly go back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are quiet and have balconies with great views.

Just returned from a lovely holiday in these beautiful apartments. Lovely rural surroundings, so you can immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of Greece! Spotlessly clean apartment with a stunning sea view. Elena is a wonderful host, we felt at home the moment we met her; she greets you like an old friend. Would highly recommend these apartments for a relaxing holiday just steps from the beautiful clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Thank you Elena and Nikos we had a great week :-)

Elena offers the best customer service - she makes you feel you are part of her home and family! I just was in Skiathos for 10 days for my wedding, and Elena made me feel like I had another Greek mother in Skiathos. From suggestions on where to go, restaurant reservations, to being a kind person to chat with every day, I cannot recommend her hospitality enough! And the same hospitality is given by her son Niko and her mom Frideriki!

The rooms are so clean, the views breath taking, and you are so close to everything in Agia Paraskevi. I would look no further than Villa Frideriki for your Skiathos vacation. Trust me- you will be planning your return trip!

Thank you so much Elena, Niko and Frideriki!

Room Tip: As for the beach view - amazing!
