We almost missed it as traffic on Rt 2 requires attention. My original review must have vanished into cyberspace but to redo the menu is surprising with platters and the usual mix of Burgers etc. You can dine in or sit outside on picnic tables. My pulled pork platter was excellent and since it was beastly hot decided on the dining room. Enjoy the extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers.

Had lunch here with a friend. Both of us rated our meals as delicious (clam chowder and turkey sandwich). The staff was friendly and as the dining room was not crowded, while we waited for our meals we looked at all the vintage items (souvenir plates, old kitchen clocks) that cover the walls of the dining room and -not surprising- the chandeliers were in the shape of wagon wheels. For dessert we had their homemade ice cream, which we also both enjoyed.

The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was fun. A good place to go for a casual dining experience

Our grandson recommended we out for brunch at the Wagon Wheel. We had only been there for ice cream previously. I was amazed at their large dining room. You do have to order at the counter but they bring it out to your table. We found out they stop serving breakfast at 11am. They still offered a couple of egg and bacon options. I had a bowl of vegetarian chili that was excellent. Others had a hamburger, chicken salad, veggie burger, egg and bacon wrap and we all shared the fried broccoli. The ice cream choices are too numerous to mention. The place can be very busy outside and in so come early.

I attended a specially-reserved evening for a fund-raising benefit. Thanks to the staff for enabling this, but lasagna was bland to watery and dessert was unimpressive. Good evening for benefiting org., but not a good advertisement for the Wagon Wheel, which has always done better in the past.
