A surprisingly good hotel in this area. Lovely staff, very comfortable and clean rooms set in a lovely garden. We ate a memorable meal of Langoustines. We remember our stay fondly after nearly 5 weeks in Mexico. We do remember being woken at 6am with the church bells ringing Jingle Bells LOUDLY. That wouldn't be an issue now though!
RAMwashington I think means Hotel Mirrador which does have amazing views but awful tourist food.

The views are breathtakingly spectacular! Spend the extra for one of the rooms on the cliff overlooking the canyons. You are steps from a lot of fun things, like the local market and zip lines, and cable cars. Excellent!

The food on our package deal was very mediocre and was served buffet style. We talked to the manager and he talked to the chef who said he would be happy to make a meal to order. It was pretty good then.

Room tip: Up on the cliff!

I had the pleasure of staying at this quaint hotel in October on a business trip for Travel agents. Birthplace of Zoro. It's a wonderful hotel with a great bar and outdoor area and pool. They also have entertainment and tons of hummingbirds in the Bar area. The rooms are charming and spacious and up to date with all modern amenities. The staff very friendly and courteous. I will definitely go back and would recommend it for a stay especially if you are going to Copper Canyon.

We stayed here before and after riding El Chepe to Posada Barrancas and Creel. Nov 26 and 29, 2016. What a beautiful hotel! Spacious inner courtyard, very nice restaurant, bar and tables poolside and attractive, well maintained and clean rooms with large bathroom and shower. Pillows and mattresses very comfortable and quiet at night. The hotel is very near the town square and a church. Also nearby is a vibrant shopping area, more hotels, lots of restaurants both inside and outside, two banks w ATM's, a museum and the El Fuerte River. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been nicer and were very attentive. Two of our favorites were "Angel" who put on a Zorro performance each night at 8:30. Very entertaining and accommodating for photo opportunities. He is such a nice man and also works the reception area and I believe conducts tours. Also one of our favorites was "Paul Bacardi" (rhymes w Paul McCartney). He is a server at the restaurant and a real treat to talk to. A very dedicated family man w many stories about how he enjoys taking care of his family and his job. The hotel provided transportation to El Chepe train 5 kilometers away for $100mx each. They were also there to pick us up upon our return even though our train was almost an hour late and it was pitch dark outside. Recommend you bring mosquito spray to this beautiful town. Near the river and lots of plant watering going on which is conducive to many mosquitos. A taxi ride to and from Los Mochis cost $800mx each way. I almost forgot to praise the bartender. Very pleasant personality with a nice smile and makes a delicious margarita!

Room tip: Ask to see the rooms to compare prices if you are on a budget.

I was very pleased to be picked up at El Chepe and talken to the hotel.
The staff were very helpful and some could speak English. I was very pleased with my experience at this Lovely colonial hotel. I was very sorry to miss Zorro.
