My husband and I stayed here for a week of pure relaxation. The service was outstanding and the front desk was very helpful in planning our day trips. We enjoyed the infinity edge pool every day and loved being able to use the hotel's kayaks and paddle-boards. You can kayak out to an old ship wreck that is directly in front of the beach. You can also use the tennis court at the beach club next door. The food and drinks were delicious. We loved having happy hour every day- you have to try the mint mojito! Our room was spacious and bright and we had a wonderful view of the ocean and the beautifully kept property. Bring bug spray and you will be able to enjoy your trip much more! Thank-you for a lovely stay Las Verandas :)

Room tip: 837 has a great view

We greatly appreciate your TripAdvisor review and your detailed experience from your recent vacation. Las Verandas is known for its deep blue skies, white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, and sunset views. We are delighted you got to enjoy the full experience. We will pass along your generous words about our team, and we hope to see you again.

Very nice hotel, however the receptionist should smile and be welcoming. She was very cold. Also, many staff members chatting at reception is annoying. Otherwise, the hotel is gorgeous, beautiful view. Coconut mojitos are a must to try. The Sunday brunch is also delicious. Las Pergolas dinner menu is very boring, so we ended up eating dinners next door at Pristine Bay. Rooms are nice, however bathrooms are too dark in decor and should be renovated to white for a more luxurious feeling. Watch out for the sand flies right before sunset. The beach chairs were ripped, they need to be replaced.

We thank you for your comments from your recent stay with us at Las Verandas. It truly helps us to improve our guest experience. We are a little surprised about your comments regarding our staff as they are normally commended for delivering top-notch customer service, however, we are constantly learning and revisiting areas where we can improve in our service delivery as to ultimately create an outstanding guest experience. Our menu and food is typically reviewed as being "excellent" however, we do realize everyone has individual tastes. Thank you again for offering us your thoughts and we hope to see you again.

I appreciated the free airport shuttle, this was my first time to Roatan and it won't be my last. From the onset, the service was outstanding. the friendliness of the staff was exceptional. The food was amazing -- you need to eat the lobster/calamari and fish dish with steamed vegetables... had to eat it twice! The rooms are beautiful and the grounds/views breathtaking.

Room tip: dont forget to bring bug spray -- those sand fleas can be brutal :)

At Las Verandas, we look forward to spoiling and pampering our guests and we are glad you noticed. We offer a boutique experience not quite like any other, on an expansive and private property. It would be our pleasure to greet you again in the near future.

The property is in great shape. Our villa was extremely clean and well maintained. The private pool and view of the Caribbean was amazing. The trip is easy since the airport can take large commercial airlines. We flew in on a 737. The trip from airport to resort is about 20 minutes. The food at the restaurants was awesome. If you choose to check out experiences outside of the resort, you really need to check out Little French Key. The resort van will take you there and pick you up. There are numerous excursions on Little French Key so plan on a full day there. As far as eating in Roatan you must try Gio's. They have incredible seafood and the servings are more than you can eat.

Room tip: All areas appeared to be very quiet
