After a morning tasting wine in the area, this was the break we needed. The owner took charge the moment we entered, expertly navigating us through some of the local delicacies. We were particularly grateful for his attentiveness to the special dietary needs of one of the members of our party who has gluten sensitivity. The starters were a fantastic introduction to some of the cheese and cold cuts of the area and complemented it with a glass of sparkling white wine. Conscious of being late for lunch (but never put under pressure to hurry), we followed the suggestions of the owner for the main course and were served home made pasta with combinations of ragu' of the day. We loved it, and allowed ourselves to be convinced into trying the recommended assortment of cakes: we had no regrets.
Highly recommended for quality of food and the friendliness of the owner.
