A hotel in a village about 15mins drive from Verona. Rooms are clean, comfortable and some have fun decor. There is a swimming pool, dining room and bar. what really makes this place special are the owners and staff. Nothing is too much trouble and it is all done with a smile and real kindness. There is a typical mediterranean breakfast, and a simple but delightful evening meal. It was always a pleasant surprise. The prices make it great value for money.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the road are quieter, but we all slept well

We stayed here in June with a group of friends 48 in total with a plan of visits and wine tastings. This is the second time I have stayed at La Pergola and it is such a lovely hotel with the most lovely friendly owners and staff. Comfortable very clean rooms with a lovely swimming pool to enjoy after a long hot day out. The food was amazing with lovely pasta with really exciting sauces and deserts to die for. Vegetarians were accommodated no problem. Monika and Guido are wonderful hosts and really make your stay memorable. Wine tasting al fresco under a lovely pergola must rate as a highlight of our holiday. Thanks you to all at La Pergola for making our stay so enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the back though they are all quiet

This is the fifth time I have stayed here in the last 4 years. The welcome is always the same, openhearted kind hospitality. O.K. it is 7 miles from Verona centre, but what an oasis of calm, green and comfort. If you have good weather, as we did, the pool and the hot tub are there to be used, Always clean and surrounded by "English Garden lawn".
The food is brilliant, home made pasta would you believe, served with special Guido sauces!
Main courses centred on Chicken, Pork and steak, always cooked in an imaginative Italian manner. And the desserts - Oh boy!
I will be back.....

We arrived on Monday June 11 with 45 members of EmsValley U3A wine group. The hotel has everything you could wish for in our case, a 4 day stay. We were expertly looked after by the owners and their staff who provide an excellent outdoor setting for swimming and a Jacuzzi. Our evening wine tasting was delightful under two large canopies. The options for breakfast and evening meal were amongst the best I have experienced.
We based ourselves to be within an easy coach journey to Vicenza, Verona, Bassano del Grappa and Marostica and the vineyards of Soave, Lugana and Valpolocella

Guido and Monika, the owners, along with Patrizia, ensure you are expertly looked after and the rooms are spotless.

The hotel is adjacent to a farm and a short distance away is the only visible sign of industry, the local marble factory. I will always remember this wonderful example of Italian hospitality.

Having stayed here as one of a couple, I returned as part of a wine group of 48. We all loved this hotel - our bedroom was excellent, as was our bathroom, with a large shower and plenty of space . Breakfasts are comprehensive - plenty of choice - and food in the dining room at night is superb. We all particularly loved the pasta as a starter each night, together with a bowl of salad. The pool is wonderful - a lovely meeting place for everyone and large enough for us all. The hot tub was as excellent as our last visit. We were able to hold our wine tastings outside at the tables, which were beautifully laid up each afternoon for us. Monica and Guido, plus Manuelle, are brilliant, so attentive and helpful, and the kitchen and waiting staff excellent. Would love to return as a couple! Thank you for a lovely lovely visit! The hotel incidentally makes a great centre for visits to this part of Italy.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back of the hotel overlook the pool and hills
