We booked a last minute getaway and stayed in The Retreat. It was really lovely, spotlessly clean and smart with everything we needed for a self catering stay. The bed was very comfy and it was nice to wake up with the lovely view and sunshine beaming in. The huge walk in shower is quite luxurious and the kitchen looks brand new, with excellent range of pots, pans and crockery. The apartments are self contained with their own entrance and there are lovely fields to walk around with great views. There is also an outside seating area where we had lunch in the sunshine. There is a pub 5 mins walk away which is cosy and friendly. Only (tiny!) criticism is the rug which kept rolling/creasing up and we kept tripping on it - could be dangerous.
Other than that, we really enjoyed it and would happily return again.

We stayed for 3 nights with our dog Monty, what a beautiful place. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Our apartment 'The Granary' was very clean and comfortable. Perfect location.
We would love to return soon.

My husband and I were delighted with our 4 night stay in "The Retreat" apartment... adults only, quiet countryside location, allocated parking and only a short drive from Rye town centre. All the comforts of home and a lovely welcome basket of goodies from friendly hosts. Have no hesitation in recommending.
