We came for one night and tore ourselves away after 4 great nights. The cottage is a genuine 1892 property delightfully maintained by the most generous hosts we have met, set in countryside with some wonderful walks and opportunities for bird and animal watching. A perfect antidote to the commercialised mainstream, would recommend it without hesitation

Room Tip: The property is a self contained cottage

We had a lovely time at Kukkaburra farm stay. I took my seven year old son here for a couple of nights and he was beyond excited by the whole experience. Callum's farm tour was great fun and gave the kids hands on experience with all the animals. We had the fortune of experiencing a newly born kid goat in the first moments after birth with mother goat. The cabins were very comfortable and well set up with everything we could have needed. Both Callum and Mel were delightful hosts and we hope to make another trip there in future.

Our family stayed at Callum and Mel's farm for a weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Our kids didn't want to leave at the end of our stay and begged us to return for another stay soon. Our accommodation was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. There was so much to see and do on the farm, and Callum and Mel were excellent hosts. The experience was very interactive, and each of our kids had a different "favorite thing" to do.
We highly recommend Kookaburra Farmstay and we will be back again.

We had a short stay - two nights. Our two sons (7, 4) wanted to extend by another week. That says it all. We just left and they wanted to drive back to Kookaburra.
We had a great time with the location, the animals, the guides Callum and Mel and the friendly dog Boy. Our boys played with animals on the farm, milked the cows fed the pigs, goats and ducks and had just a fun time....
The hosts are great and the location for day trips to the beach is excellent...there is plenty to do in that region.
If you like countryside holidays off the tracks of millions, but fast access to great spots we can highly recommend this place. Too bad it is 10h away by plane from our home. So we cannot visit again soon.
Callum, Mel. thanks for taking care of us!

Callum, Mel and all of the staff were brilliant at creating a friendly environment for families while maintaining an excellent property. Farming ain't easy! My kids will have many cool stories for months from the farm tours , getting their Junior Farming Licenses and meeting the animals up close. Dad also liked the proximity to Murray's Brewery and the 4WD tracks. We'll be back ! -Ron, Lisa, Ky, Ruby, Kane & Lily
