Being just across the road from the Devonport Ferry Terminal this an an ideal spot to stop for a coffee or Lunch before visiting the local attractions .
The Coffee was good & the All Day Breakfast good value but not exciting .The Café was busy but staff seemed to be handling the pressure pretty well .

Service was excellent as was pineapple lump milk shake and main meals. The menu was wide ranging which often leads to mediocre food but they seemed to manage excellent food. Decor was quite formal and interesting. Visited with two young children.

Devonport is such a pretty place. We'd taken the ferry from Auckland and walked quite a way looking at the attracive houses along the seafront, and climbing Mount Victoria etc. It was time for lunch!

There are lots of place in the village but Dixie Browns seemed to be the place to go. Two of us drank a Tui beer, another a thick shake and I chose cider, which turned out to be from overseas - not the local one I had in mind! The four of us shared two pizzas - one a salmon and the other prosciutto. Very nice, and plenty for a light lunch.

Service was a bit slow because the place was packed. However we enjoyed the break before heading in another direction to further explore Devonport. When it came time to pay we were very pleased to be offered a split bill. We all considered the cost of $35 per couple good value for a pleasant lunch in a nice setting.

Had coffee and a muffin here, the muffin was bland and dry and coffee average. However polite and friendly staff and great location.

Called in on Good Friday for lunch. 3 adults and 1 child. Seated quickly on an outside table but no offer of water. Great menu choice and at reasonable prices. The prawn and avocado salad was tasty but a small portion - starter size rather than a main size. Catch of the day was again tasty but the portion small for the price. Turkey burger was big and got the thumbs up. Miss 7 chose the chicken nuggets from the kids menu and finished the lot. Overall, nice setting and location, but slow service, small portions and given the number of other eateries in Devonport, we won't be back just yet. We used the Entertainment Book for 25% off. A 15% surcharge was added to the bill, lots of places in Devonport were not.
