The house is gorgeous - right by the waterfront, and short walk to the ferry & Devonport village.
The guest room is kept separate from the rest of the house which is nice. The bed was really comfortable, and lovely bathtub. Lots of little touches to make you feel at home.
Lindsay & Helen are both really lovely - felt more like staying at a friend's house than a B&B. They have a great balance of giving you your privacy, but really welcoming & friendly as well. You would struggle to meet nicer people.
Would definitely recommend, and I'm sure we'll be back too!

Our two day visit at Parituhu Bed and Breakfast was like a visit with friends. Lyndsay and Helen were so welcoming that we felt as if we had known them for years. Our bedroom was very comfortable and private, but we were welcome throughout their home. We were hunkered down waiting for the rain and wind from Cyclone Cook (which never happened), but we were delighted with so many far reaching conversations about Lyndsay and Helen's life and travels, as well as sharing our stories. Their house is a lovely Craftsman's design, breakfast was superb and the best part was a continuing dialog with our hosts. If you have not been to Devonport, you are in for a treat. It is a lovely location, great restaurants, shops and a short ferry ride to Auckland. It is perfect and we will certainly return. Thank you, Lyndsay and Helen, and we hope to see you in the U.S.!

Thank you Judy and Bob for such lovely comments. We really enjoyed having you stay with us at Parituhu. And yes the conversations were great. We reckon it makes the world a better place when we can all share our stories.
And we were glad that "Cook" passed us by.!! Lets keep in touch .

We stayed 2 nights at the lovely home of Lyndsey and Helen, with a great location looking out to the bay. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, with modern furnishing, looking out onto the back garden. The house is cozy and filled with New Zealand art. The ferry to downtown or Waiheke is a 5 minute stroll, and downtown Devonport is full of shops and restaurants. We will be back. Helen and Lyndsey are a delightful couple.

We stayed at this B and B for two nights and loved it so much we returned a few nights later after visiting other areas. Lyndsey and Helen are lovely hosts and wide ranging conversations over a great breakfast added to the real pleasure of our stay. Great comfortable room and very nice bathroom. A home from home.

Devonport is a short ferry ride from Auckland and a complete contrast in atmosphere - a gentile Edwardian seaside resort with excellent restaurants for lunch and evenings .It was our favourite part of NZ.

We stayed at Parituhu for 3 nights at the start of our trip to New Zealand and can't recommend it highly enough. Helen and Lyndsey are delightful hosts and the accommodations are very comfortable. Devonport was the perfect place for us to start our trip as it is peaceful and quaint and provides very easy ferry access to Auckland and Waiheke.
