This is a small restaurant in Richmond in a strip mall. There are many Japanese Restaurants in Richmond which can be good and also daunting at the same time. Recommended to me by a friend, we decided to venture here. Upon entering, this place is small. They have many items on their menu posted with pictures on the wall. Takeout business is brisk and dining in is fast and turn over is fast too. Very efficient staff in getting your food to you. We tried a few items on their menu and was impress with their salmon sashimi. Their tempura yam was good too as it felt premium because they use the yellow sweet potato, not the orange ones. The prawn tempura did not taste greasy which is good. Their spider roll and BC Roll was quite good too. I was lucky and extremely thankful we did not end up with the JUMBO MAKIs the other tables around us ordered.
TIP: Come here as quality is decent. However, max your group to 4 people as its a small restaurant and you will wait a long time since its a popular eatery. That is a testament its good. Pay cash, do not expect a fancy place as its no frills. Fast service, get your food fast, and do not linger around. Also takeout are an option.
