I have been going to Osoyoos for 35 years from a youngster with my parents to taking my now grown children and my parents. We camped until kids were young then went to the Tamri around '98. I think it is a person's expectations that make or break your stay. We camped for years, moving into a little cabin for holidays was a step up. I don't want hotel living, this is a 'camping' experience for us. That said, the 'new' owners are wonderful, accommodating, pleasant and clearly hardworking. We love that we are steps away from the lake, that we are at the farther end of Lakeshore Drive so not a ton of partying kids and that it's consistent. We arrive every year and it feels like home. Love the Tamri, love Osoyoos and can't wait to get there tomorrow!!

After staying at Tamri a number of times in the last ten yrs.my daughter decided to have her wedding reception here.Great choice! We rented the whole place for three days and had a fantastic time!! Peter and Sylvia (owners) once again proved they are "the Hosts with the most" Everyone had a wonderful time and Peter and Sylvia were more than accomodating, making sure everyone was comfortable and happy. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean and affordable place where you are made to feel at home, then you're in luck! Did I mention your dogs are also welcome? One of so few places where they understand your animals are family too! Lake is right across the street and all your amenities are 5 min away.Great people and great location. It's also great that you can either camp or get a room, over the years we have done both and never been disappointed!

We reserved the whole Tamari Motel and Campground Facility (10 rooms & 10 campsites) for 3 nights for our family reunion Aug. 2014. The facility is central to all amenities in Osoyoos. Although the facility is not a new fancy establishment, the rooms were very clean, kitchens were well stocked with a barbacue, dishes, cutlery a full size fridge and stove in each room The beds were really comfortable as well. The campsites were a good size for our needs. We had 4 empty campsites where we set up games and used that space as our play areas. Great fun! We had 48 family members attend and we were comfortable and it was private!. The lake was across the road from our accommodations which was perfect for us. It was a great place to play with the family during the day. The beach was clean and inviting and pets (on a leash) were allowed..Our hosts/owners, Sylvia and Peter, were very accommodating and helpful at planning some events. and we are very grateful for for them allowing us to have such large gathering at their facility. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! I would definately stay at the Tamri Motel and Campground again while visiting Osoyoos, and/or have another event at this establishment.

We couldn't have found a better place to hold a family reunion. We in fact rented the whole facility for 3 nights and couldn't have had better hosts. The campsites are the perfect size as we were not in our tents much but only to sleep. The motel rooms were simple but very clean, and the beds were very comfortable which was a wonderful surprise. We without hesitation would stay at Tamri Motel and campsites again. We are entirely grateful to Sylvia and Peter for taking on such a large family reunion, they are angels and we thank them for everything.

This is one of the Best place go to if you are looking for a great time, quite, relaxing and fun. Also excellent customer service and very accommodating to your needs, plus they sell ICE and no need to go far to get it... also very reasonable price and nice place. Owners are very warm and kind.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good, no need to choose which room is the best, they are all the same and if you preferred to be closer the beach choose 1 and if you like almost private choose 10.
