Disaster!!!

We reserved 2 rooms early on June 26 2018 at this Knight’s Inn in Midland. There also was a friend of ours that had made confirmed reservations. Three rooms denied from our wedding. We spent from 3 o’clock to 3:30 at the front desk while the man looked at our email confirmation on my phone and he said he “there is no record of this booking… we are full.” He also said “at busy times do not use websites, book straight with the hotel“. Are you kidding me?? We spent another half an hour in the parking lot looking for two rooms in Midland and there were none to be had. We needed to get to the wedding for 4:30 so we ended up getting changed in the parking lot. That was a real treat. The wedding party was extremely upset and justified so!!! We and our parents (in their eighties) had to leave our wedding celebration much too early to drive two hours to get home. No travelers should ever be denied rooms that they had previously booked.

Dear Valued potential guests, Thanks for stopping by at our hotel on July 21, 2018 when you booked rooms with some online travel agent who never booked rooms with our hotel as your bookings were not showing on our reservation system and I did explain you this when you were here at hotel.       My husband and I have stayed at the knights inn midland a few times and have enjoyed and have been satisfied with our room cleanliness, easy check in and check out, friendly staff and management- Thanks Aamir! See you in a few weeks ☺️

      I'm not sure what people expect for a motel that is priced at such a low price point. The property is clean, very well maintained and in an excellent location. The room was well appointed and clean. Despite management responses to other reviews, they do not clean the rooms every day. It has nothing to do with Do Not Disturb signs; it's their policy. For this price, we didn't care - we just asked for, and PROMPTY got - fresh towels every day. Steps from a beautiful beach. Which brings me to the manager. We didn't like him. Form your own opinion - but a guy who hides in his house all day and has never even been to the beautiful beach and park steps from his own motel is in the wrong job. All the other staff were wonderful. We had a nice stay in Midland. Not impressed with the two dogs who live in the upstairs apartment that tried to attack my dog - they shouldn't be allowed to stay there. We had to literally kick them off our puppy while the boys walking them smirked. She's still showing effects a few weeks later.

      Room tip: Ask for non-smoking even if you smoke. Smoke outside.

      My family of 4 stayed here on the Canada Day long weekend and had an amazing time. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating, the room was very clean. Special shout out to Tammy, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. :) The location is great, with Little Lake only a two minute walk away and downtown also just a short walk. My 4 year old was asking for a week after our stay to come back and stay here again, so we did. We're all here now on our second visit, and are having a fantastic time. I wouldn't be surprised if we came back for a third, fourth, fifth visit. Definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Midland! Thanks everyone's at Knights Inn Park Villa!

      stayed there 3 days and rooms were not looked after first night and 2nd night. final night late clean up because very angry. different people in office booking in. would not stay there again. I went for work, 2 other rooms treated the same. need reliable staff for sure.

      Room tip: go elsewhere, many motels in Midland

      Dear Keith, first of all being General Manager Knights Inn Midland I'm so grateful that you chose our Hotel for your stay in Midland Ontario, however I asked my housekeeping supervisor Tammy if she ignored that room where you stayed for cleaning and she told me that you had DND ( Do Not Disturb ) sign hanging on your door knob which made them delayed cleaning your room until later in the evenings. As far as our room cleaning standards are concerned we clean our rooms everyday and our cleaning staff is the best in town as you can see a recent review in which our housekeeping supervisor Tammy was praised by one of our other valued customer and this customer and so many others are very much satisfied with our cleaning standards. If I'm not mistaken your sister and her family was also stayed at our hotel on same dates you did and I still remember she came in my office and praised me and my staff personally. Most of our guests choose our hotel as their 2nd home away from their home just because of our very friendly staff and clean rooms. Regards. Aamir Farhan (General Manager).

      Room was clean, pillows were foam chunks & only 2 for queen bed. The air conditioner was very small & was not on and it was over 30 degrees celcius. It didn't really cool down until the morning and we turned it on at 3pm. It's walking distance to 2 fast food and 2 sit down restaurants. Breakfast was 3 cereals or 3 different bread or 3 different bagels. There were no larger bath towels and only 2 towels when they knew we had 4 in our group.

      Room tip: we had the 2nd room from the road end and didn't hear any street traffic

      Dear Linda, I'm really grateful that you chose our hotel for your stay in Midland and I'm also thankful that you liked and encourage us for our room cleaning standards and location in review. We provide two pillows per bed with an option to provide more on guest demand and sizes of our air conditioners are certified by air-conditioning technicians according to room sizes and all our room air-conditioners work if you turn them on as they are not on 24/7 if room is not occupied as we try our best to save you tons of your hard earned money and keep our nightly room rents lowest in town as compare to other franchise hotels and if you have noticed at our hotel you experience not only high cleaning standards but almost all those amenities what you can get at any 4 star hotel by paying several hundreds of dollars in room rent.
