The runs are scarcely taller than those in Toronto, an hour away. The cratered car park becomes a sea of non-tranquility on a warm day. The cafeteria is unremarkable.
On the plus side, a nice new quad seater whisks skiers to where they can do drills on a couple of really short black diamond runs. Or ride up the rickety old two and three-seater lifts to the blue hill or park, where the view from the top is surprisingly magnificent--of the precious sunset and surrounding residential homes.
Our family enjoyed Chicopee for two full days over the Ontario Family Day weekend and highly recommend it.
