The hotel has been beautifully renovated and has modern fixtures. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bedding felt fresh and clean.

The rooms and common areas were immaculately clean. There was a rain shower and handheld shower, which was a nice touch. The microwave and fridge are enclosed in a large built-in cupboard. There’s a nice big counter to put your things, and a bench when you get into the room as well. The bench has a shelf at the bottom for shoes, which was a nice touch. There were four sconce lamps and lighting behind the headboards. There were two more funky decorative lamps as well.

I had the city view, which wasn’t as nice as the lake view but still nice!

Newly renovated hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Complimentary water daily was a simple but nice touch. Renovations are still underway on the exercise room and restaurant which should be completed in time for the summer 2024 tourist season. Close and easy walk to downtown.

The view from the lakefront rooms is amazing. The rooms have clearly been updated, but the building is old & tired. Noise travels easily into the rooms from the halls. The elevators are comically small. I contacted the general manager before our stay, to ask for a top floor room, noting we were celebrating our anniversary. I had to send a second email to get a response -- and even then, it was a terse response and he did nothing for us. Jimmy, you need to learn how to take care of the customer.
