Don’t bother here it’s falling apart!!

1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 25, 2024
Didn’t get to check in until 3.30 and room was still not ready, got given another room. Pool has been closed for at least 6months or longer and no information on the website about it being closed and no price reflecting this closer. Hallways are so slanted like the building will soon collapse. Drug pipe found in parking lot. People yelling and screaming outside in the parking lot all night. Musty smelling room.

Out of date and in general poor condition. Both in the room itself and in public areas. Poor parking situation as well. Only a few spots in a shared lot with the McDonald’s next door

What a dump. The room smelled and the carpet was older than my grandmother. I can't believe you would charge $250 a night for a place that wasn't worth $50.
We complained to the front desk and all he could say was: "I only work here. The owner can't afford to renovate." For $250 a night, I think he can afford to renovate.
I will never stay at a Travelodge again.

We really love this hotel and the town.
Hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown. Accessible pet and people friendly hotel. Clean spacious and had the best sleep ever.
Next door to all the fast food joints and walking distance to everything you need.
Well done Travelodge!!

Terrible experience. To get to our rooms, we had to cross through the pool area which is under construction and full of tarps and equipment. We were told that it’s been like that for years. The back hallway is very sketchy too.

Our rooms were musty and had an extremely strong urine smell. My first room had not been vacuumed as there was dirt on the floor and garbage under the couch. I asked to move rooms since the urine smell was so strong in the first. The front desk staff was not very apologetic - it seemed like they’d had the same complaints before. The second room smelled slightly better but was still not super clean. The rooms are old and outdated, with old carpets, old kitchenettes, and old bathroom fixtures. The couches in both rooms seemed dirty and were sagging.

We were supposed to stay two more nights but ended up changing our plans.

Room tip: Avoid the entire hotel.

Down hill corridor to our room was also slanted in places across the hall. Room was dingy, looked dirty, bad smell and a big stain on the carpet by the beds. All furnishings looked to be 40+ years old. Old wooden Windows didn't lock and we were on the first floor. Air conditioning is a joke - the unit looked just as old as the room and no way to work it to cool down. Do yourself a favour and keep driving!
